An alternative view on the end of the great mouse detective. As we never see the scenes between the last and the fight between Ratigan and Basil, I thought I might take my own spin on it. I hope you guys like it. Rating is just in case as there is some injury detail.

A young woman watches The Great Mouse Detective in peace, but the TV turns white and she is transported into one of her favorite Disney movies. In it, she befriends Olivia and the others, so they can stop Ratigan for the toymaker's kidnapping and Ratigan's plot against the queen. No Basil/OC

Ratigan catches Basil and his ex-henchbat, Fidget in his hide-out and ties them to a trap.

Fidget is sleeping in too long, so his friends do everything they can to wake him up before noon, especially for cases.

Ratigan, who survives the fall from Big Ben and his gang, who he saves look for a new cat and a new henchmen. Ratigan is throwing tantrums for not getting his way.

When Ratigan returns to get even with Fidget, Fidget decides to pull a prank that would drive the rat away. Rated T just to be safe. Contains tickle torturing!

Ratigan is subbing at Olivia's school, while Olivia's real teacher has off. He is mistreating the kids, so Olivia and Fidget do what it takes to save the kids. Parody of "Matilda".

Fidget gets put in the bottle by Ratigan. Who will save Fidget? Based on a dream I had in my 5th grade summer.

Olivia gets stuck in one of the pipes in Ratigan's lair. Will Fidget rescue her? Fidget also has the same problem as Olivia, so will she return the favor?

As Basil, Fidget, and the others investigate in a human house, Ratigan snatches Fidget away and locks him and himself in a closet. Basil and the others look for the right tools to get Fidget out.

Fidget and Olivia unexpectedly see Ratigan return when the two were just packing Fidget's belongings and get out.

Basil teaches Olivia how to play his violin, although he tells her not to touch it. An alternate prospective on "A Lesson Learned". More detail is shown below.

Olivia goes to school and Fidget is sad because he misses her a whole lot, so he walks over to Basil's to keep him occupied.

One night, just when a depressed Fidget thought Olivia was better off without him, he ran away from home because he felt like a danger to her, her father, and their buddies and sadly, Fidget was bound by his past. Will their friendship be tested?

While Fidget helps Mr. Flaversham build the bubble machine, Olivia goes out for a walk to find Toby, but she gets trapped by another dog and gets injured. Will Toby rescue her?

Basil wants a new violin to add to his collection, but Dawson, Olivia, Fidget, Mrs. Judson, and Olivia's father tell him he already has enough to add to his collection and comfort him.

Olivia and Toby are keeping each other company while Basil and Dawson look for Fidget in the human toy store. Then when Toby and the trio of mice chase Fidget, Fidget has a new change in behavior. What will he do?

Fidget and Olivia make a description as to why they are strongly against discrimination against rats and bats since Basil is the one to discriminate bats and rats in the first place.

This story is violent and upsetting to some. It explains why Olivia runs away from Basil because he tried to mold her into another version of him and Fidget attacks him for it.

Fidget doesn't want to go in the toy store because it haunts him with memories of himself kidnapping Olivia, but Olivia and Basil persuade him to go back there as a reward for returning everything he stole.

AU: Ratigan orders Fidget to help Mr. Flaversham build the mechanical mouse queen so that the work will get done faster.

Basil feels ashamed for lashing out at Dawson for his nonfulfillment on watching Olivia and decides to apologize. Sadly, Olivia blames herself for her misfortunes, but Basil, Dawson, and her father convince her not to. She then thinks about how she could avoid her past mistakes.

Basil is having a bad day because his meeting didn't go very well and when he hears Olivia toot, he makes her take a bath. When Fidget and Olivia finish cleaning up, Fidget accidentally breaks Mrs. Judson's vase, so Basil relieves his stress by taking him to the bathroom, meaning Fidget takes a bath.

Although Fidget is fully accepted in Basil's circle of friends, he is feeling down for a different reason, for the fact that he isn't a mouse like Basil, Dawson, and the Flavershams are. Who will restore his optimism?
