Just a Dream
Ron/Hermione song fic.
She decided to take a walk along the beach back from her sun bathing spot. She walked along in her bathing suit.

"Walking barefoot on the shore,
Hypnotized by the ocean roaring"
Hermione walked along the beach, thinking of Ron. Where would he be right now? 'Is he thinking of me?' she thought.
"Thoughts of you drifting in and out,
Never fails to calm me down."
She closed her eyes as water rushed up against her feet. Opening them she saw a beautiful sight. The light shining on the blue water. 'Blue… Blue.'
"I still see your eyes when light hits the water,
And I've never seen a color so beautiful,
So blue... Ocean blue."
She thought of Ron again. How wonderfully handsome he was. She loved how the freckles covered his face. Again she started walking along the shore.
"I keep moving to the distant sounds,
And visions of you drifting in and out.
Clouds mixing with the sand and the sea,
Sounds get carried on the ocean breeze."
She remembered the sound of his voice. How sweet it was to hear.
"I still hear your voice from across the horizon,
And wasn't that you walking into the shadows?"
She thought she saw something move in the shadows a little ways away.
"In time I'll believe it was just and illusion,
In time I'll believe it was only a dream."
She shook her head, knowing it was just a trick of the eye. She again looked towards the water.
"I still see your eyes when light hits the water,
And I've never seen a color so beautiful.
I still hear your voice from across the horizon,
And wasn't that you walking into the shadows?"
She turned her head, a tear trickling down her cheek. She walked faster towards the house at the edge of the beach.
"In time I'll believe it was just and illusion,
In time I'll believe it was only a dream."
She then saw him, standing on her doorstep waiting for her. He stood a good six and a half feet.
"Till then I will breathe you in from the ocean,
And walk with the waves rolling under my feet."
She looked behind her one last time before walking up to her house. She hugged Ron and they went inside to talk.
