She'll Always be Waiting for You

Hugging her legs she sat against the railing on the balcony of her quarters.

Oceans apart day after day, And I slowly go insane

There way no use crying. It wasn't going to bring him back. Crying never did anything at all. She turned around and stared out into the sky, gazing at the stars.

"Hoshiko! I hope you're in bed!" the emperor called to her from outside her quarter's door.

"Yes, dad," she shouted to him.

Today had been one of the worst days ever. She sat back down, thought for a moment and then stood up and walked back into her quarters and crawled into bed. She left the balcony door open. She starred at the ceiling.

I took for granted, all the times, That I thought would last somehow

She rolled over onto her side and closed her eyes.

"Hoshhhhhhiiiiiiiko. Are you in bed?" he whispered.

Her eyes shot open and she flung out of bed she raced over to him. She flung her arms around him and he spun her around and around. She giggled with joy. He set her down.

He pulled out beautiful white Lillies from behind his back. She gasped and her hand slapped to her mouth. Her eyes filed with tears and she smiled and laughed.

"Lillies!" she said, "You know they're my favourite!"

"How could I forget!" he whispered.

"Takuya….." she took the flowers and a tear dropped onto a petal.

I wonder how we can survive, This romance
But in the end if I'm with you , I'll take the chance

He took her hands in his and kissed her forehead, "Good-night, Hoshiko."

She slowly put her arms around his neck, "I love you" she whispered.

"I'll see you soon." he backed off the balcony and flew into the stars.

He waved as he disappeared into the distance.

She crawled back into bed and couldn't stop grinning. Tears rolled down her face. He always did that. In the deepest of her sadness he showed up, as if he sensed it. She closed her eyes, "Takuya," she whispered.
