The second year at Hogwarts was going fine
But both of them knew that trouble was to come.
Slytherin's heir started leaving dreadful signs
That Harry couldn't protect Hermione from.
One day she had suddenly been petrified
And Harry was too stunned to know what to do.

But then he held her right hand and found a clue.
She figured out how to beat the basilisk
And he decided to take on You-Know-Who.
