The Black Pearl - wrinklylemon
I wrote this after watching PotC one of the first times, and I had the urge to write a poem about the Black Pearl (strange, I know) so, I did!
I wroteit ages ago, before I'd even heard of fanfiction! I remembered it the other day, I thought I should post it. I nearly rhymes! wow! I'm so proud of myself - not! Oh well here it is.
A Ship comes sailing in,
No-one knows where from,
Its crew is busy working,
Its decks are big and strong.
The huge black sail towers high,
The skulls and cross bones - the Pirate sign,
Reaches up into the sky,
A warning to all passers by.
The ship sails in at the dead of night,
The fastest ship you'll ever find,
Gives the bravest of all men a fright,
It tortures souls and embodies minds.
The ship is searching far and wide,
Searching for something more,
It eats into the sailors' minds,
And dances on the shore.
The wind is blowing through the sails,
Through the icy seas,
It lands upon a distant shore,
Unexpectedly.
Many a ship has crossed its path
Though few souls have been spared,
Devours all that's in its way,
The carnivorous nightmare.
