I never understood
Why you looked at me that way
Why spoke to me so softly
How you understood the things I'd say
How you were always so nice
And gave such good advice
I always wondered why
You never seemed shy
You always would share your ideas
And wiped away all of my fears
Now I see what I wanted to know
Your feelings for me finally show
Now you must know something about me
I love you too and now we can be free
We will love each other for all eternity
