Chloe Sullivan let out a frustrated huff and slammed her trigonometry textbook shut. She had gone to college to study journalism, not useless math that was written in a different language too impossible to comprehend. Then her mind jumped to her boyfriend Clark Kent. She had gone over to his dorm room because he promised her that he would help her study for her trig final. Just when she had cracked open the book he got a phone call. He quickly kissed her on the forehead, grabbed his coat, and rushed out the door saying that he would be back in a minute. Well that so called minute had turned into an hour and he still wasn't back yet. She angrily threw her pencil off to the side and was startled when she heard someone yell "Ouch!" She turned around in her chair to see Clark hanging up his coat on the door handle and rubbing his left eye.

"What was that for?" He asked, not really upset or hurt at all.

Part of her wanted to kiss his feet because he was finally back to help her and the other part wanted to slap him for breaking his promise and being gone for so long.

"Clark where were you? You have been gone for over an hour."

"Sorry but that was my dad and he really needed my help back at the farm. You're lucky that I can run faster then the speed of light or I would have been gone for much longer."

"But Clark it's almost midnight and I have to get going soon. I didn't get any studying done and I am going to miserably fail my trig final. I don't even get why they make freshmen college students who want to major in journalism take math this hard anyway. It's not like I will ever have to use it, and another thing…

Clark's lips gently pressing against hers cut off Chloe. She was so caught up in her little rant she failed to notice Clark walking over to her with an amused smile on his face. After a long moment he finally broke away from her but lingered only inches away from her face. A smug feeling came over him as he realized that only a simple kiss could make her become so still and bring such a dreamy look to her face. Suddenly Clark got an idea and without hesitation he easily picked her up out of her chair and threw her over his shoulder.

"Clark!" She half laughed and half yelled. "Clark Kent you put me down right this instant!"

"Ok if that's what you really want." He said playfully as he lowered her down onto his bed and hovered above her.

He pressed his lips to hers eagerly kissing her. She fully encouraged this by running her hands through his hair and pushing her body against his. Chloe gave him one last teasing kiss before she pushed him off of her and sat up.

"Clark are you going to help me study or not because it's getting late and I really should be getting back to my dorm room."

"Anything for you." Clark answered.

Chloe got off the bed grabbed her trigonometry textbook and then sat back down on the bed, scooting into a comfortable position. The studying however was soon forgotten as Clark began to place soft kisses down her neck and across her collarbone. Chloe shut the book.

"Clark how are we supposed to get any studying done if you keep on distracting me?"

"I don't know." He said completely oblivious to anything but Chloe's neck and collarbone.

"We're not going to get any studying done tonight at all are we?" She stated matter of factly.

"I guess not." Clark answered, as he lowered her down onto her back and eagerly kissed her.

The only thing that they would be studying that night was human anatomy.
