I took a deep breath. What awaited me just outside my front door could be more than I could handle. Nah. Then again these two guys did have biceps on their biceps, and a mean face to boot. They were probably after the girl that's hiding in the back room with a loaded semi-automatic hand gun. She meant buisness and right when I opened the front door, I realized they did too.

"Why, hello! What brings you here on such a fine day," I beamed with a wide smile.

They didn't.

"Where is she?"

"Who?"

"Don't play dumb with us," one of them growled.

Guess what? They just now leveled a nice little glock to my poor little cranium.

My wide smile faded away.

"Now, fella's..."

"Where is she you wind bag?"

"Well I..."

"You better start talking before I blow your face into St. Louis!"

"Boys, we are in St. Louis."

I was stalling. I leaned up against the door frame. With the hand that was now hidden behind the wall, I grabbed my lovely little hand-gun.

"That's enough from your mouth."

With the barrel of his gun, he bashed my face. It hurt. I went stumbling back to the floor. Once they saw the gun I now held in my hand, they decided to finish me off. That girl that was in the back room, decided she disagreed. Once I heard the gun shot, I thought I was dead. Then I realized that I hadn't been hit. The man that was in front of me with the gun, was now on the floor lifeless, staining up my carpet as the blood rushed from a new hole in his head.

"You men can't take care of yourselves now can you?"

Her name was Maggie. She was a goverment spy. The reason these rude men were after her was because of her knowledge of their drug dealings. They would be spending quite a while in the federal slammer if the goverment found out about their dealings. Which was exactly why she needed to get the information to the goverment. She came here to hide. I helped her. Now, my house is in the process of being wrecked. But that's ok. I'm helping the goverment, right? Sure.

"I was doing fine."

"I can see that."

" Ha ha ha." I said this sarcasticly of course.

There was still one more left. No problem.

"Ok. You wanna play like that huh?"

That was what the other thug said, right before he leveled two large handguns to my face. Why me? It's always me!

"Look lady, you come with me and cooperate, or you lose your friend."

He was now standing over me. He was distracted, trying to bargain with Maggie. Yeah right. I decided to take the chance. His legs were spread. My leg was right in between his. So, I decided to kick him, right in the private area. His knees buckled. He wanted to scream but was out of breath. Instead, it came out in a high pitch whine. He went to the floor as I got up. He had dropped his two weapons. I kicked them away. He reached for them so I stepped on his arm with my boot. I bent down and put my gun barrel in his face. Maggie came to my side.

"I think we can find a nice cold prison cell for him. We can bring him along with us to the F.B.I. headquarters."

"We?"

I'm pretty sure I heard her right.

"Yeah, why not? I might need a body guard."

Her? Needing a body guard? Especially me? Yeah right.

"You just took out these guys without a scratch. I have a bloody nose and I didn't even do anything!"

" Sure you did. You took out the last one."

"But I--"

"Please?"

Oh boy. She trying the puppy dog face.

"But I'm--"

"So strong and smart and handsome."

Oh boy. What a kiss up. Literally.

Next thing I know, I'm being kissed by the most beautiful goverment spy in the world.

I, Timmy Shnigett, accepted to help her.
