The Twilight Titans
My first fanfic, and several chapters to come. I hope you like it. R&R but no Flames please!
Chapter One: At the Carnival
It was a beautiful evening in Jump City, and the Titans (finally convincing Raven to go with them) were at the Carnival. As usual, Beast Boy and Cyborg found the biggest, baddest, most gut-wrenching ride available, and not quite as usual, forced Raven to go on with them.
"Is this supposed to be fu- AHHHHHHHHHHH!" Raven shrieked as the coaster car hit the main drop. The trio screamed, laughed, and screamed some more as the coaster went into a series of loops, flips and corkscrews. BB and Cy were so captivated by the ride that they even failed to notice how Raven's cloak kept changing colors, and the fact that her opinion of the coaster varied every three seconds.
Starfire and Robin met the trio at the exit of the ride, where Beast Boy was still trying to assist a slightly greener Raven, who was still humorously plastered to the dashboard of the riding car. On the way to food stands, the team spotted a rather seedy looking attraction, in which a greasy-looking man was "displaying" some timid animals who were locked in cramped cages. Beast Boy raised his hackles, furious at the man.
"Wait here." he snarled. Beast Boy proceeded to morph into a mouse, which went unnoticed by the crowd. Then, sneaking up behind the man, quickly morphed to at T-Rex, snorting into the man's back.
"You'd better have a good reason for-" As he turned around, the man's jaw promptly hit the pavement. "Ah, AH, AHHHHHHHHH!" He then scampered down the road, and out of the carnival. The rest of the Titans burst out laughing, as did the rest of the passerby. Even Raven grinned, her cloak turning slightly pink.
The Titans then walked out of the Carnival, and headed for home.
