YAY! I finally finished something Sailor Moon (well, I actually postedthis earlier but some things went kind of screwy so I fixed them).Some of my stories are taking a really long time but this just popped into my head the other day.It takes place during the first season when Darien has been kidnapped and brainwashed by the Negaverse. Love Forgotten
My love.
My whole.
My all.
My protector, prince, and soul mate.
You're so close
But just out of my reach.
I can see it in your eyes.
I hope to see the depths of ocean
I still long to explore.
Now that ocean has evaporated
And been replaced by a blank stare
With a lick of flame.
A tinkling tune
From the smallest of stars
Makes me think of you.
Saddened by the lack of your company,
I weep.
And yet
That simplemelody makes me feel as if you are near
Although it is a poor substitute.
My heart leaps when I see you
Hoping you may have remembered me
And what we shared.
But your words leave me empty and hopeless
And I wish you hadn't come at all.
A lonely wind whips about my face
As I wonder where you are
And how to get you back.
Your absence fills me
And I weep to the moon
Wishing for the days before all this.
I reveal the star from my pocket.
Its twinklingsong gives me hope.
I hold the tiny trinket to my heart.
Its gentle refrain fills my senses.
I stare into the nothingness of space
And I promise myself
That I will save you from the darkness.
