This is the third poem I've written in my entire life that has actually been decent. I have no talent at poetry what so ever, but every few years one comes up. Enjoy!

Lady from Naboo

There was a babe born on Naboo
Bringing joy to all.
Her childhood spent on helping others
She became Queen at a mere fourteen
To save her planet from corruption.

Then one day,
the Federation came
Killing peace all around.
Jedi were sent to make amends
But failed in doing so
So off she went
To find help in the stars.

An attack came, damage done
Tatoonie she found herself.
She followed a Jedi
To see the planet for herself.

There in a little shop
Down the street of Mos Espa
She meant a boy
Who told her he would marry her some day.
The seeds of her fate were sewn.

The boy named Anakin
Saved them from abandonment.
They left the planet, boy in tow
A slave child, no longer.
Aboard the ship, he gave her a token of his luck.
The next buidling block of her fate added on.

The Lady asked for help
None she did recieve
So back to Naboo she went
And brought the invasion to its knees.
Away the boy went, after saving the day
And peace filled the streets once more again the next day.

Ten years passed
The Lady became Senator
An attempt on her life
Brought back the boy from Tatoonie
Building on to her fate.

Another attempt had the two sent away
To the grassy fields of her home.
A stolen kiss, a secret wish
Revealed upon the stone.
Another piece fell in, building like a tomb.

Till away they went again
To Tatoonie, tragedy did strike.
Breaking from the cloud
Came the Dark Side way
Anger paved the road a bit more.

Away they went
To save an old friend
Only to their dismay
Captured they were and sent to die
But not before a final good-bye.

The battle was won
The wedding was done.
Their fates were hand and hand.
So the Lady from Naboo and the Jedi Boy
Hid their romance from prying eyes.

Years did pass
Stolen moments had
Passion filled reunions ended with tears
For morning had to come.
One last kiss and out the door he went.
The last before Anakin died.

Finally a day did come
Where joy filled the Lady's mind
A babe was to born
A chance to put things right.
She could quit the Senate and hide away
But little dreams would never come to be
Because her love was a Jedi.

He returned and was joyous at the news.
Her worries grew, no matter what they did do
Fear clouded their eyes.
A dream came and it was the end
Of their lives forever
Their fate was sealed for good.

Anakin did fall
The Lady tried all to stop him
But to tragedy it lead
He tried to kill her
Leaving her alone without a wish
And death on her doorstep.

She asked the man of Anakin
But there was no answer.
She knew that he was gone.
Her life left her
At the terrible moment.

The twins were born.
Named on what mother and father decided
But the Lady died
Gone inside
Her children left alone.

Watch did she
From death's embrace
Her husband's terrible deeds.
With his mother
They waited until he was appeased.

The Lady watched her children grow.
Saw her daughter hurt.
Finally came the day to see Father and son exchange blows.
The Lady cried out,
Horrified at the sight
Her daughter tortured and son injured
By the man of their birthright

Soon did come the day
To bring the boy back.
Slave went against Master
And free he became.
Darth Vader was no longer.

The Lady smiled at the sight
Her Jedi Boy was back
They embraced in death
Completely forgiven
And finally, she was able to rest in peace.
