Dream
I can't help you up
I can't help you stand
All I can do
Is watch your pain
Forget the days I was with you
Because I'm gone
Never will I fall in step with you
And walk you through life
All of that was a dream
A simple figment of your imagination
A mass of color that moved in your mind
Something that only existed in your past
Because that's what I am
A mere dream
I can see what you're doing
Causing others to suffer
Without me, you grew corrupt
You became a monster
Remember the days I guided you
And never let them pass you by
It'll teach you a thousand songs
You have forgotten
The dream is now over
As you wake up to the harsh reality
As you discover I was never there
But only someone you knew in the past
Before and always

Even though I have returned
