This is the story through Sally's eyes. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I own none of the characters.

I knew I loved him

That guy named Jack

When he went into the sky

I thought he'd never come back.

He proved me wrong

That fateful night

My side of the story is what I now write.

I was born in a lab

Or should I say made.

With hair of red

And eyes of jade.

I wanted to fit in

To be part of the world

But he always said

"You're not ready, foolish girl!"

But that didn't stop me

From my nighttime raids

For I had discovered

A wonderful little thing called Deadly Night Shade.

I would put it in his tea

And he would fall asleep

And I would sneak out so he wouldn't hear a peep.

One day, my beloved Jack

Told the town of this magical place

I'll never forget

The smile on his bony face.

He wove a magical tale

Of trees covered with light

Of presents and mistletoe

And that one special night

That night that came

Only once a year

That night that brought

Everyone such cheer.

He then decided

We should give it a try

I had a bad feeling

But I didn't know why

He then asked me

To make him a suit

I didn't question

Why he made this irrational pursuit

It was wrong to steal another holiday

And I'm sure Mr. Claws agrees

I seemed to be the only one

Who noticed the problems no one sees.

He then decided to kidnap Santa

He had just gone too far

But everyone kept singing

The mayor kept shouting from his car.

Then that night had come

That night that I'd been dreading

Who knows where his

Good intentions were heading.

When I heard that Jack

Had been shot down

I didn't believe it

Sandy must be somewhere around.

I found Mr. Claws

In Oogie Boogie's lair

As I attempted to rescue him

I fell and got cobwebs in my hair.

I knew he would come

I knew that he was fine

He realized he didn't acknowledge Sandy's feelings

And certainly not mine.

As the town celebrated their

Holiday delight

I snuck off to the cemetery,

away and out of sight.

As I sat alone

I heard a voice

When I saw that it was him

I began to rejoice

I finally knew the way he

Felt about me

We then both agreed

That we were meant to be.

That is my story

Simple and plain

I cannot wait for Christmas to come again.

That magical night

That comes once a year

That night where we in Halloweentown

Had celebrated with cheer.

After that night

Things were not what they were

The collision of holidays

Was not expected to occur.

We all now knew

Of those other days of the year

That bring out in everyone

Happiness and cheer

I end this now

And say goodbye

Sincerely

Sally Finkelstein
