Kish sighed as he leaned against Ichigo's window. She was mumbling in her sleep about Masaya. This moment would mark the point when Kish finally gave up on her. He came back to earth a few months after the final battle. He hoped that Ichigo finally left Masaya, but this wasn't the case. He was heart broken and decided to leave. But he would take one more walk around the city he once tried to destroy.
He passed Tokyo Cafe, the place where Ichigo worked, still. He passed her school and her favorite shop. His last stop would be a small park. Kish, now very depressed, was about to leave when he heard a familiar voice. "Hey!" He glanced over his shoulder to see Mint, Ichigo's best friend. "What are you doing here Kish?"
He didn't say a word, only stared at her. He never noticed how beutiful her hair was.
"Are you listening to me?" still no reply. Mint was now annoyed and walked closer to Kish and.
SLAP! A large hand print was posted on his face.
"Hey, that hurt!" he said he put his hand on his wound.
"Now then," she said calmly, "Why are you here?"
"Do I have no right to see my kitty cat?" Mint glared at him. He chuckled nervously. Mint was scary when she was mad.
"You better give up. She's still with Masaya."
Kish gave her a sad look. "I know." was all he managed to say. Mint's face softened as
she looked at him. She actually felt bad for him. She had never been in love but she understood
his pain. Right now, she just wanted to hold him tight, get rid of his pain.
She mentally slapped herself for thinking such things. He was her enemy, right? Tonight
under the moonlight he was so cute. His sad face made her want to cry for him. But she was
stronger then that. She wouldn't fall for him.
She finally noticed that he was staring at her. She blushed lightly. Kish noticed this, while he was looking at her. 'She's even prettier then Ichigo right now.' Mint turned away from him, hastily. On her left she spotted a bunch of flowers. She smiled and walked over to them. Kish followed her, wondering what she was doing. Mint picked them up, and smiled happily. " I never would have guessed that you like flowers." He said approaching her from behind.
Startled, she turned around. " Yes, just a little bit." She replied regaining her calm. " Is there something wrong with that?"
"Not at all. It makes you so cute." She blushed again. This time more noticeable. For the first time today he was smiling.
"What's so funny?" She asked trying to sound normal, but her voice was a bit shaky.
"Do you really want to know?"
"What do you mean by that?" He smiled and leaned in and kissed her. Her eyes shot open. He pulled away quickly. She just stood there breathless. " I'll be back for you, okay?" She blushed and nodded still shocked.
A bit of time passed after kish left when she finally got every thing that just happed. She then looked down and noticed that he took the flowers she was holding. She smiled. ' Guess, I can't say I'm not in love anymore.'
