Author: Omg! I totally forgot that I even wrote a story, not to mention this much. So I decided to re-write "Alone in the world." So here it is. I'm so sorry! I have the memory of a pin cushion!

Disclaimer: Well duh, I don't own Inuyasha but if I did, I would.

Prologue

Summary: It's a prologue…

Ok so like here it is!

"A long time ago, I was nothing more but just a child. Left with alone, with my baby brother, and nothing else. My parents had left me, my mother dead, with her last minutes of life hating her children. My Father leaving us, without a good-bye or a hug. He ran away, not wanting any responsibility for his children… and this is my story." I turned my head to see my beautiful, little girl.

She smiled at me, with that smirk that belonged to her father. She was everything to me, all I had. I couldn't love her more. But it was hard sometimes to raise her, not being able to buy her the things she wanted. I always had to tell her someday I'd be able to buy it for her. It hurt me to see her nod agreeing, not even once begging. She knew we never had enough, but she pretended that it was alright. Just to make me feel better.

"Mama!" She said in an impatient voice, as she grabbed my sleeve. "Don't go thinking about anything else go on with the story!"

"Are you sure you think your old enough to hear this?" I asked her. She was too young to hear this story.

"I already know how babies are born!" She stated, with a cocky tune in her voice. She crossed her arms, giving a small pout at her mother for judging her intelligence.

"How would you know that? You're only ten!" I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Then it hit me. "Uncle Souta told you didn't he?" I saw my daughter nod. My eye twitched slightly, but I sighed. "Alright I'll continue the story, now where was I? Oh, yes. One day, I met a boy….."
