Chapter one: a midnight rendezvous
Neela came home to the apartment she shared with Ray. She had been avoiding ray for a couple of days now. Every time she saw him she would get butterflies in her stomach.
"Pull yourself together Neela! He doesn't like you so just stop this!"
She tossed her shoes off by the door threw her purse on the table and collapsed on the sofa and let out a sigh of relief.
"Another day over"
she thought to herself. She started to stare out the window. Her mind went a wander. She started thinking about Ray.
"STOP! Why am I thinking about him so much? I know why he's funny, caring, sweet, and did I mention he is so HOT! OMG I did not just say that"
Neela taken a back by what she had just said got up grabbed a glass and filled it with water from the tap. She got so caught up in her thoughts that she hadn't noticed the glass was overflowing with water from the tap or Ray who'd just come home after finishing his shift.
"Neela…..Neela the tap" said Ray
"Sorry" neela said as she turned the tap off
"Neela are you ok" asked Ray
"um yeah I'm fine"
"Neela whats going on"asked Ray
"I have to tell him don't I" thought Neela
"Ray…i.." Neela just couldn't get the words out
"what" asked Ray
Neela didn't know how to say it and before she knew it she was kissing him
"OMG WHAT AM I DOING!" Neela thought to herself
Neela pulled away and said she was sorry and went off to her room
Ray just stood there in shock
