Chapter two
Realising the Truth
Ray stood there shocked and stunned. Had Neela really just done that? Ray thought to himself.
Ray who was still standing in the kitchen opened the fridge door and grabbed a beer he opened the bottle and sat at the table thinking about what just happened.
She kissed me. Neela kissed me! He repeated it to himself trying to make it sink in. He sat there for what seemed like an hour but which was only 5 minutes until he realised he liked the kiss.
Ray! You liked it stop trying to kid yourself. You liked it you know you did.
All of a sudden the door of Neelas room opened and she came out and went straight to the bathroom and locked the door.
Ray you have to talk to her. Now! Before it's too late!
Ray got up and waited outside the bathroom door. When Neela finally came out she was so startled to see Ray there that she let out a little shriek and leapt back and hit her head on the cupboard.
"Ow!" Shouted Neela
"You ok?" said Ray kindly
Neela nodded
"Look Neela we need to talk"
Neela looked up at him and thought to herself.
"This is the part I was dreading"
"Neela I need to know why you kissed me" said Ray
"um…….well…..you see" Neela hesitated
"Neela look at me" ray turned her face towards him
"Ray I like you ok" Neela blurted out and then her gaze fell to the floor
"I like you too" Ray smiled
"you're not just saying that"
"no that kiss felt so right" said ray stroking her face with the back of his hand
Neela couldn't stop looking into his eyes and smiling before she knew it ray leaned in and kissed her Neela thought to herself
"Ray was Right this does feel right"
Ray picked her up and took her to his room and closed the door behind them
