First and probably the only FMA poem I'll write (unless I get requests). Ed's PoV, almost like a retell on the series. Don't sue me if I got the ages wrong, I keep getting confused with them. Anyways, enjoy.
Unerasable SinI was once a ten year old,
And my brother, a nine.
We lost our mother that fateful day,
And I allowed myself to cry.
We practiced alchemy all the time,
And found ourselves a teacher,
She left us on an island for a month,
And we learned how to survive.
We then started on our own theory,
On how to revive our mum,
I should've listened when Al said,
'I have a bad feeling about this, brother'.
Our transmutation was a failure,
And I lost my left leg,
Al his entire body, but I kept him alive,
Binding his soul to an armor.
I lost my right arm in the process,
But I didn't care.
Now I want to set Al right,
And he the same to me.
My missing limbs replaced with steel,
We set off on a journey,
I became a 'dog of the military' at twelve,
To try and atone my crime.
We faced troubles and dead-ends along the way,
But in the end we succeeded.
Al got his body back,
And I, my limbs.
Yet, there is a price to pay,
For the law is 'equivalent trade',
I was sent beyond the gate and I ask,
'Is this to atone for an unerasable sin?'.
