Disclaimer: The Turtles nor Star Wars do not belong to me (Sniffle), and neither does Star Trek (but that part I'm ok with).
Leonardo sat on the couch, enjoying an article in the Wall Street Journal. He was heavily engrossed in the story of the burglary of a local pharmacy when...
"Hey, Leo!" Michaelangelo said leaning over the back of the couch.
Leo reluctantly folded his newspaper and looked up over at Mike.
"What?"
"You know how Star Trek fanatics are called Trekkies?..."
Leo sighed, "Yeah. So?"
"So what are Star Wars fans called?"
Leo shrugged, "I don't know... Warries?"
"No, that's not it..." Mike sighed. Leo returned to his newspaper.
"This is going to bug me now!" Mike called out to no one in particular, "What are they called?"
"What are who called?" Raphael asked as he walked into the room with the TV guide and switched their wall of TV sets on.
"Star Wars fans! What are they called?"
Raph gave Mike a look and said sarcastically, "Gee, Mike, maybe...Star Wars fans."
"No!" Mike said, "I mean, like, Star Trek people are Trekkies, so what's the name for Star Wars dudes?"
"Do they even have a nickname?" Raph asked turning to Leo.
Leo didn't look up from his article, "Not that I can remember."
"I'm positive they had a name!" Mike said and fell into deep thinking. Raph flipped through the channels one by one, eventually his mind wandered back to thinking about Mike's question.
"This is bugging me." He said after a while of silence.
"What
is? Dora?" Donatello asked as he passed through the room on his way
to the kitchen, "yeah, that show has a tendency of
bothering those
of us over the age of five."
"Huh?" Raph's mind returned fully to the real world and realized that he had stopped on a channel showing an episode of Dora the Explorer complete with mind-numbingly catchy tunes that remain forever imprinted and rolling around your brain.
"Donny!" Mike shouted at his brother, "You were into Star Wars a few years ago, right?"
"Like shell he was!" Raph laughed.
"Yeah, I got into it a little bit..." Don trailed off.
"You call dressing up like Luke Skywalker and insisting on calling Master Splinter, Yoda, a little bit?" Raph laughed louder.
Don glared at Raph, "Let's just remember who wanted to be a Power Ranger when they grew up..."
"Hey! I was six, for crying out loud! And back then those guys used to kick butt!"
"So? I was only seven during my Star Wars phase!"
Leo thrust down his newspaper, "Quit it, guys!"
"Hey Leo! What about you and that Mary Poppins movie?" Raph taunted, "You used to watch that over and over again when we were little..."
Leo glared at Raph, "I said, 'quit it!'"
Mike stepped back in, "Donny, what's the nickname for Star Wars fans? You know, like, Star Trek fans are Trekkies..."
Don scratched his head, "I dunno, I don't remember if they even have a name..."
"I know they do! I just can't remember, and neither can Raph or Leo," whined Mike. He slumped off to his room.
Donny continued into the kitchen, still in thought, but to no avail.. He frowned in concentration as he opened the fridge, "This is going to bug me now."
