Chapter 1: New Arrival
I sighed. I was on my way to meet my brother Rei at Gatwick airport. He had phoned me saying that I had been invited by the chairman of the BBA, Mr Dickenson to join the team Bladebreakers, which Rei was part of.
I flicked through the pages of my magazine, flicking some of my jet black hair out of my eyes. I and Rei were twins and we shared the same hairstyle, eye color and hair color. Apart from the fact that I wore black and red we were almost look-a-likes for each other.
5 hours later
The plane arrived at Gatwick station. I groaned softly and stood, making my way off the plane and into the airport to collect my luggage. I soon collected the luggage… which was one rucksack and walked into the main part of the airport. I looked around and quickly noticed my brother. I crept up on him and pounced, landing square on his back. He yelped slightly and fell to the floor dragging me with him.
He quickly stood up and saw who pounced him. He smiled widely and helped me up hugging me tightly. I smiled and buried my head into his shoulder for a second before he let me go.
"Rei" I grinned hoisting my rucksack back over my shoulder
"Kari" he smirked grabbing the rucksack from me and hoisting it over his shoulder.
I grinned again and shoved my hands in my pockets "so…." I started "hows…. Life?"
"Its good" he nodded "hey… you look thinner…"
I blinked "well I lost some weight" I nodded
"But you werent fat"
"I know… I didn't do it intentionally. It happened when training"
"Oh…" he nodded "so you have been training then?" with a playful smirk
"Yes" I smirked back "of course"
We continued our conversation like this until we got outside the airport, where Rei called a cab. It drove us to the hotel Rei and the team were staying in.
"right…" said Rei as he paid the cab driver "this is the hotel we are staying at… now I must warn you about the team" he nods a bit "just so you know what they are like"
"Ok" I smiled "tell me"
"Ok… first there is Tyson" he smiled "very ummmm cocky and tends to get on everyone's nerves." He sighed gently "then there is Max, never give him sugar… if you do you will regret it" he added sagely "then there is Kenny, he is the smart one if you wish. He is the one who upgrades our blades and finds information on rival teams" he smiled a bit and then "Theres Kai… He is the obnoxious one who is silent and creepy at times… he is the captain"
By this time we had gone into the hotel and were one floor away from the Bladebreakers room. He smiled as we walked up the last flight of stairs "you are going to like this team" he nods
"and if I don't?" I smirked playfully
"tough luck" he grinned "coz your contracted to us"
"I know" I grinned "so I cant ditch you guys"
He shook his head and I bopped him gently with my braided ponytail. He pouted and then announced "were here!"
I sweatdropped as he opened the door "Hey guys"
I then heard "Rei your back! HEY TYSON! REI'S BACK!" I heard a whooping sound from inside the room somewhere and Rei made me wait outside
"Mr D wants us down in the bar in 15 minutes… capiche?" Rei said
They all said something of agreement and Rei dragged me back down the stairs to the bar. I glared at him as we walked…
"so was there any point in my comingup with you?"
He shook his head with a smirk "nope"
"BAKA!" I yelled and pounced on him "I demand you piggy back me to the bar!"
He sweatdropped and nodded, piggybacking me all the way down to the bar.
