Chapter 1 - Sunshine
The morning arrived, shinning through the window of Hermione Granger's window; it was the end of summer and soon a new Hogwarts year. In two days time Hermione would be riding that train back to Hogwarts for her last year.
Hermione's summer was filled full of excitement. While she was on holiday in the Bahamas and met a friend name Angel Fillinus. They met at a the bar she worked at also as time went on she found out that she has magical ability, part veela and part witch, by Angel accidentally letting slip words that only a witch or wizard would know. So from then on there friendship grew and Angel told Hermione she was moving to the magical school in England and will be living with her estranged father she had not seen for 6 years because off her mother recent disappearance, which has took its toll on angels emotions, Hermione would not of found this out unless she wasn't there when she got a letter from her father telling her to come back to him.
As Hermione slowly rose from her bed, her eyes adjusting to the sudden light, she was about to go to the bathroom when she heard a tap, this sent Hermione puzzled for a moment but she eventually realised what it was, two owls with some letters one was hedwig and the other was a Hogwarts owl.
Hermione opened her window and they both flew in, hedwig landed straight the way near some owl food and the other perched itself on the end of her bed.
'Hello hedwig' Hermione said trying to take the letter without getting a nip from hedwig. Hermione then went to the other golden brown owl and stroked it; it then stuck its leg out to allow Hermione to take the letter. As soon as she took it, it flew out of the window.
Hermione sat down on her bed and decided to open the letter from Harry first. She ripped open the letter, it read
Hi Herms
How's your summer been? I have been at the burrow with Ron for most of mine. It's a shame you couldn't come.
Was your trip to the Bahamas good? What did you do?
I was wondering if you want to come to Diagon ally 2moro? To get our school things, want to meet in the leaky cauldron about 12?

Hermione smiled and wrote a short acceptance letter back. She tied it to hedwig's leg and watched him zoom into the sun. Hermione then returned to her bed and tore open the letter from Hogwarts. There was a shinny badge that fell out, Hermione beamed it said 'Head Girl'. Hermione had never been this happy before she was head girl and her new friend was moving to Hogwarts can it get any better!
