Magical Romance
Beast Boy was walking in the forest and lay down under a big oak tree. He looked up at the sky thinking of what to do. He then he heard something. He sat up alarmed and looked around. Searching the grass he saw something move. He stood up to get a better look and he saw a pointy hat. "What the…" Beast Boy mumbled to himself. He turned into a rabbit and followed the hat. The hats lead him to a thick forest. The hat walked out of the tall grass showing a small, midget-like body walking into the forest. B.B. continued to follow him. They walked for a while until the midget stopped. "ASQUARIO MORTEX" the midget yelled. He walked a little further and disappeared. Beast Boy quickly followed and was transported out of the forest and into an unknown place.
He looked around and instantly saw a huge waterfall that emptied into a big, shimmering pond. He looked more closely and thought he saw what looked like…mermaids? He transformed back into his human form and rubbed his eyes. He opened them thinking the mermaids were illusions but he saw three multi-colored girls with fishtails were smiling and giggling at him. Once he got over the mer-girls he looked around more. There he saw things more amazing. There was a huge bon fire surrounded by the strangest and most wonderful things. He saw midgets and fairies and all sorts of multi-colored, misshapen, strange things.
Speechless by all the strange things he snapped back to reality when he heard a bell chime and everyone rushed to a stage. A small butterfly-winged toddler grabbed his hand and rushed him to the crowed. He obviously fit in very well. A beautiful young girl walked shyly onto the stage. She had slightly wavy hair, icy blue eyes, and a leafy green dress. There was something strange about her…she looked…normal. A melody was played on a sea shell-like flute. The girl began to dance. She moved so swiftly it was like she was dancing on air. Was she? "Maybe…" he thought. Once she got off stage she ran to the pond. He was so intrigued he unknowingly walked over to where she was. She seemed to be talking to one of the mermen. He stared at her blankly. The merman stared at him defensively, bringing the girls attention to him." Hello" she said in the kindest voice he's ever heard. Beast Boy snapped back. "Oh uh…hi!" he said nervously. She stood up. "Are you new to the festivals?" she asked "umm…yea! New…" she took his hand and showed him around. They ended up back near the pond. The same merman she was talking to before had his eyes out of the water glaring at B.B., who was getting the idea that fish-dude didn't like him very much. They sat down and started talking. Before he knew it he was telling her his life story. He told her EVERYTHING, the titans, Terra, everything, and with each story she was more and more fascinated. Hours had passed. They just sat there talking. "So you live…out there?" she asked excitedly. "Well…yea." She looked at the ground, then him. "Beast Boy?" she asked kind of shyly. "Yea." Beast Boy replied. "There's something I think you can help me with. It would mean the world to me if you did." She said hopefully. "Umm sure." B.B. said a bit surprised. She looked deeply into his eyes. " Help me get out of here." She asked." Get out?" he repeated a bit confused. " I've been here all my life and have always dreamed of getting out. It's like a prison here to me." She said near crying. "Of course! Why wouldn't I?" B.B. said trying to cheer the desperate girl in front of him. " Really?" she asked hardly believing it. " So what do I have to do?" he asked. "Ok. Just hold my hand and RUN through the portal"
