His hand slowly reached out towards the curve of Sango's waist. The resounding slap didn't even deter him as his hand reached its goal before he fell to the ground. Holding his cheek, he laughed as Kagome glared in his direction before hurrying after Sango. Inuyasha spared him a bored look before crossing his arms and walking after the two girls.

His hand slowly reached out to stop Sango from running after the demon. She glared in his direction even as her injuries finally took their toll on her body, causing her legs to give out. Her hair fell around her face, hiding her features as he offered his hand to help her up. Hesitantly, she accepted the offer, gripping his hand tightly to steady herself before standing. Together they made their way towards Inuyasha and Kagome.

Lightly running his thumb across her lip, he tilted her face upwards, forcing her to meet his gaze. A blush spread across her features, her mouth parting in surprise. Capturing her hand, he bought it towards his mouth, placing a kiss near her wrist.

Leaning over, he softly whispered in her ear causing her face to heat up and her blush to spread. He idly wondered just how far the blush reached before his thoughts were interrupted by the feeling of a hand closing around his.

her head. Holding her close, he placed his chin on her shoulder,
content to just hold her in his arms as they stared at the vast expanse
of stars above. Her body relaxed against his and he closed his eyes,
listening to the sound of her breathing. Sango caught him off guard by
quickly turning in his arms and placing a chaste kiss on his lips
before returning to her star gazing.
