Sweet

She was attracted to him like a moth would be to a flame.

She was addicted to him like a bee would be to honey.

She loved him exactly the way he was, the way the cats loved mice, the way the dogs loved bones, the way God loved man.

Sweet - like the faintest scent of roses growing at the back of the garden blossoming in her head, like the lightest touch of an angel's arrow spearing at her, like the briefest taste of sugar lingering at the tip of her tongue.

She loved him just the way she did.

He was like chocolates. A box of enigma reluctant to unveil all the closest secrets and mysteries he held to his heart. He would store them one by one in the depths of his soul, carefully, organized, as he refused anyone who tried to pry them from their respective places.

He was like chocolates. Dark, plaintively delicious, and dizzy upon trying. The effects were great. He could plague any by the simplicity of addiction. He upped the scales of calories, of fats, by multiple notches, but that was just the way he was. No one could help it.

He was like sweets. A large collection of them - multi-colored, multi-patterned, wrapped in tempting irresistible packets that were branded with different kinds of names. Yummy on the outside and on the inside. Sweet at first taste, and then varying into euphoria of bliss and happiness and a thousand and one tastes on the next.

He was like sweets. So many of them, yet easily decayed by the sands of time. The sweetest would be left unharmed behind, and it was your decision to pick the right ones and taste them. Upon savoring, they would linger upon your taste buds and make you reach out for more.

He was like sugar. Easy - the way every ant would pay the price of laying down their lives to seek what they truly want to, the way every ant would put in massive amount of effort to escape the brutalities of human's grasp, the way every ant would do every unscrupulous thing to obtain their little precious gem.

He was like sugar. Simply sweet and an addiction.

He was all of the pleasant things to her - sweet and tasty. He was the addiction, she was the addict. He was the embodiment of all things sweet and nice, she was the taster.

He was Ren, and she was Pirika.

She loved him simply - the way an ant would love sugar, the way a child would love sweets, the way a chocoholic would love chocolates.

Her love for him was simple. Sweet like chocolates, sweets, sugar and all things sweet that God has ever created to be savored.
