A/N: I don't know why I decide to write this other than the fact that I was listening to the song.
Behind These Hazel Eyes
Seems like just yesterday
It had been just yesterday
You were a part of me.
Kagome laughed as Inuyasha picked her up and spun her around, bringing her down for a kiss.
I used to stand so tall
I used to be so strong
Kagome looked at Inuyasha from the corner of her eye, before shooting the killing arrow at Naraku. The arrow pierced Naraku's black heart, purifying the jewel that had been buried within him. Naraku's screams tore through the air, and felt like glass shards in their ears. Then it was over and Kagome Held her head high, picking up the whole Shikon no Tama.
Your arms around me tight
Everything, it felt so right
Unbreakable, like nothin' could go wrong
Kagome looked back at Inuyasha from the crater that used to be Naraku. She smiled at him before running at him and embracing him in a hug. It was all over. She had tears streaming down her face. She was so happy. Inuyasha held her tight and cupped her cheek with the palm of his hand, before tilting her face up to meet his in a fiery, passionate, kiss.
Now I can't breathe
No, I can't sleep
I'm barely hanging on
Kagome clung to a tree desperately. Her heart tore so many ways as she saw Inuyasha with her Incarnation. Tears leaked out of her eyes. She watched as Inuyasha kissed Kikyo. Not with the fiery passion he had kissed her with, but with gentle tenderness and love. Her heart shattered. She dashed back to Kaede's hut, grabbing her pack and running to the well. When she got there she through in her pack and watched as it disappeared with a blue glow. She took out her pocket knife from her shirt pocket and sliced her finger enough so that it would drip blood, and waited for Inuyasha.
Here I am, once again
I'm torn into pieces
She watched as Inuyasha rushed into the clearing. She smiled sadly at him. "Do you know how many times I've heard my heart break, Inuyasha?" She asked him, looking up at him, her Grey eyes shining with unshed tears,
Can't deny it, can't pretend
Just thought you were the one
"Do you know how many Lakes, rivers and streams could be filled with the tears I've shed because of you, Inuyasha?" he looked like he was about to respond but she held up a hand.
Broken up, deep inside
But you won't get to see the tears I cry
Behind these hazel eyes
"You will see no more tears shed from my eyes because of you. Goodbye Inuyasha." She turned her back to him, standing on the brim of the well. She turned her head to face him and smiled sadly, "I really did love you.", before jumping into the well.
But you won't get to see the tears I cry
Behind these hazel eyes
