Afraid

You ask me what I'm afraid of,

And my answer will be nothing,

You argue, poke, and prod,

And say everyone's afraid of something,

I will repeat that I'm afraid of nothing,

Afraid of being nothing,

Afraid of having nothing,

Afraid of meaning nothing,

Afraid of loving nothing,

Afraid of feeling nothing,

But you're right when you say,

Everyone's afraid of something,

Afraid of being something,

Afraid of losing something,

Afraid of meaning something,

Afraid of feeling something,

We're all the same,

We're all afraid.
