Lost Souls Are Just A Waste
Lullabies can sing their song when evil comes to rest
Our bright and daring heroes have strived to do their best
Still sometimes it's not enough and shadows overcome
The question is would they go on, or would they merely run?
Some things are best unanswered, without having to decide
One more saving, one more risk, another selfless ride
Underneath the humble hero lies a selfish guy
Left alone, it feeds on fame, consumes him deep inside
Scary situations will not make them turn their tail
Another win, they'll chalk it up; never can they fail
Reality will strike them hard when someone new is found
Each one of them will lose their flight and roughly hit the ground
Justly they will tell that they couldn't ever lose them
Ugly souls they hid away; remember that they're human
Sometimes it's easy to forget with all that they have done
They think that failure is the chance a person gets to run
A friend will stand behind them, but one day they won't appear
When love and friendship have been replaced by overwhelming fear
At last an ending absolute will come upon this team
Soon they'll have to realize that they're living without dreams
Then time will catch up to these souls that once had been so brave
End of fame for tainted souls that wash up in the waves
