Here's my random Chiaki/Maron/Sinbad/Jeanne ficlet! Read on lovelies!

The Trouble With Transforming

Chiaki only watched Maron transform in Jeanne once. Once was more than enough for his poor nerves.

He had been in his Sinbad persona, streaking across the city at a fast pace when a figure standing in a belltower caught his eye.

…Maron seemed to do that unknowingly all the time…

Catching his eye that is, not the btanding in a belltower thing. One would assume she knew where she was. Right?

He didn't even have a second to appreciate the simple beauty of her form standing in front of a oddly giant moon, or wonder how the heck she got up there before she shifted her weight and leapt from one of the open windows.

He will swear to this day that his heart had momentarily stopped beating.

The girl he was still denying that he loved had just thrown herself off a really tall tower! Falling down numerous stories directly down to the unforgiving concrete below! He had stared, stunned, before springing into action.

Sinbad landed on a nearby rooftop, mentally calculating when he would leap across, catch her midair and land with the both safe.

And never allow her feet to leave solid ground again. …oh his poor nerves…like it wasn't bad enough watching her avoid various weapons and dangers day in and day out…

The city seemed oddly quiet as he stood on that rooftop, braced to rescue the girl, eyes never leaving her rapidly falling form – how long did it take to fall form a tower – when she was enveloped in a bright light. The light…had wings? Wait…now it looked like a heart with wings…then it was dissipating as he watched her hair and face change and her Kaitou Jeanne costume appearing piece by piece.

Had his brain and body not be frozen with fear for her he would have been disappointed that the light covered her body until the clothing appeared.

Drat.

Ah well.

Atleast she was Jeanne now. Jeanne falling from tall towers was surpassingly better than Maron falling from tall towers. Jeanne had that bizarre ball thing that both retained it's shape while bouncing and encircled things for various reasons.

After this job he would have to ask her about that…right after he expressly forbid her from jumping from that damn building ever again!

…he really didn't think his nerves could take it…

AN: of course, because of that…he missed the nudity later in the series… . ; oh well…could anyone really even see that anyways? Although it still tweaks me out when I rewatch those episodes. And..I have a rather pressing moral question…

If Chiaki and Jeanne or Maron and Sinbad..or hell..even Sinbad and Jeanne had a moment…if that considered cheating? I mean…wouldn't that be a kick in the pants for any court who had to listen to that one… Anyways! I hoped you were entertained for a short while by my blurb…so, review and tell me you loved it!
