Title: Admittance
A/N: I'm not actually sure what this is, which make it all that much more random. Sara's thoughts are all I can offer.

On a day just like yesterday, when I used to walk in the sun. I'll stand in front of your grave that day, and say "I love you, Mom." Take back the bitter feelings, keep the hatred in the past. Smile at your memory, be proud of you at last.

Ignore all of the whispers, of the taunts from when I was a kid. It's not my job to hand out punishment or find justification for what you did. Forget the day they dragged you away, the day the charges were filed. Remember how our family used to love, and that I wasn't always an only child.

Instead be proud of who you were to me, of the things from you I learned. Be willing to show you the respect that you have somewhat earned. Remember your confession, penned by your trembling hand, and though I can't offer you forgiveness, I finally understand.

End.
