Broken Promises
Well, this was formerly known as "Inori" but after reading it quite a few times, I decided to change the title since the edited version doesn't quit seem to fit with the old title. But everything is still the same, just decided to remove some unwanted pieces here and there and then adding some stuff ; Anyway, I hope you like it!
I hate myself.
Letting out a soft sigh, I once again stared at your face. The face that I always admired and loved. The face that looks so peaceful when sleeping but can be as cold as ice when awake. The face that has captured many young girls' hearts... including mine. The face that belonged to the one and only, Uchiha Sasuke.
I really hate myself.
I could have stopped you from going to that mission. I should've stopped you but no, I just had to stand there like a mindless idiot while watching you go straight to your graveyard. Although I really had a bad feeling that the mission you went to was more dangerous than we all thought, I still kept silent, believing that you would survive it somehow.
But Sasuke, you're only human. No matter how strong you are, there is no way that you could've completed that mission without dying. And I was an idiot for thinking otherwise.
"I won't die. I promise."
I highly doubt that. As much as I want to believe you, I just can't and I'm sorry for that. But that doesn't mean I'll give up. I'll still wait here for you. When you wake up, you'll find me here, sitting beside you. I will wait and I promise you wouldn't see me cry anymore for like you said, crying is a sign of weakness.
"Please don't break your promise, Sasuke-kun."
