I don't own anything but their children... muahahaha! lol )

I wrote this for a class assignment. I know it's short but I couldn't make it too long. Probably sucks too... (nothing new there)

Emma believed it was time for her kids to get married. They were getting older and showing no signs of settling down. Emma didn't want it to seem like she was kicking them out, but she wanted them to be as happy as herself and her friends.

Now that Mr. Woodhouse had passed on, the family relocated to Donwell Abby. This made it difficult for Emma to go socialize. She was taking the carriage to Miss. Bates' house. After the formalities and asking after Jane and Frank, she left for Mrs. Weston's.

As Emma walked to Mrs. Weston's house, she thought about who would be the perfect wife to her eldest son, Trent. She knew Mr. Knightley wouldn't approve of her interfering in their children's love life after what happened with Harriet, but she couldn't help herself. She was sitting with Mrs. Weston and her two daughters, Anna and Caitlin, when she realized Caitlin would be perfect. She could get Trent married along with her family and the Weston's family united.

Back home, Emma ran herts by Mr. Knightley. 'No! Can you not remember what happened last time, Emma?' Mr. Knightley argued.

'It will be different this time, I promise. They are perfect for eachother and like we were, they are the bestest of friends. Please Mr. Knightley,' Emma urged.

Mr. Knightley gave in, 'Alright, but only if you promise to let them figure it out on their own. I don't mind you giving them a little push, but that is it!'

'Thank you.'

At every engagement, Emma worked from the sidelines to push them together. They didn't have the problem of needing a chaperone; everyone thought them childhood friends. By the end of the month Emma wasn't surprised when Trent approached her with his decision to marry Caitlin. She was delighted and began to plot schemes for her other children.
