Summary: The mystery of Naraku's pelt, revealed!
After the Shikon no Tama disappeared, Naraku spent a lot of time in a lot of different forms, jumping around and making himself nifty little enemies.
It was all very amusing to him.
But he couldn't help but be a little miffed over not having something that gave him more…fame. A disguise he could stay in at all times.
Then he met a special oni, who was particularly bored without the Shikon no Tama to chase after.
Her name was Yura.
And she knew of his plight, the need to have a sort of…calling, that everyone could know about. He also, for some odd reason, expressed a very strong interest in monkeys.
Yura thought Naraku was a little weird.
But one day, after being rather bored. She came across a huge demon, a monkey demon to be exact. After successfully stealing its fur from him, (Yura had to note that fur was very soft and very warm) she sought Naraku.
Handing him the white pelt she smirked.
"Here, a gift for you. Now can I have your hair?"
