On with the show....

The summer had gone on, very quietly. After Harry's outburst he seemed to have calmed down, and didn't talk much. He just stayed in his room. His room in Hogwarts that is.

Remus had no idea what he did, he went into check every so often, but Harry would ignore him or give him only monosyllabic answers. To say Remus was worried was really an understatement. Remus knew the move would be tough on Harry, telling dumbledore had worse though.

They had met Albus in his study and Harry had said nothing, not even a yes or a no. The most he did was shrug, as Remus explained what had happened and why they were here. Albus was shocked and apologised to Harry. But still he got no reply. That was until the very end.

---FLASHBACK---

Remus got up and moved to the door. He then noticed Harry wasn't with him. He turned around to hear Harry say.

"Headmaster, may I be resorted?" both Albus and Remus both looked shocked, not at the question alone, but the fact that Harry had actually spoken. Albus looked at Harry questioningly then answered.

"I'm sorry Harry but I cant allow that. Once you have been placed in a house you must stay there. It is also in the school rules if you care to look." The headmaster looked down again at his laced fingers, as Harry hastily left the room barging past Remus.

---END FLASHBACK---

Remus knew that the reason that Harry was so quite now was because of the move and Albus' refusal.

Harry met up with Ron and Hermione in the entrance hall, he had not gone on the train. Ron said hi and Hermione hugged him. He stiffed at her hug but pretended to look glad to see them and said a quiet hi to each. They then went into the great hall, all three sitting down at the Gryfindor table.

Everyone was filing in slowly and finally when everyone was seated, the sorting started.

(AN; I could leave you here but I wont cuz I have been asked if I could try make my chapters longer. It's HARD!!!)

it was long and people were getting restless. Finally Hannah Ying was sorted into Ravenclaw. All was silent at the headmaster stood up.

"This year I hope to find you all well, and happy to be back" dumbledore started "welcome to all those new student, I hope you like it here, to those old ones work hard as always, and I'm sure we will get on again" he smiled.

"Now as you know we have a new defence against the dark arts teacher. I would like you all to welcome Mr. Nyghts. There was a polite applause for the new and unknown teacher.

"Now" Dumbledore started again "for food". And with a clap of his hands food appeared at the tables. Everyone quickly started eating.

Soon the meal was over and all the houses left for their dorms.
