Vegetas wish comes true!
Out in the forest, Vegeta and Goku are catching their supper. (It had been two months now since they had got together. Goku finished with Chi-Chi after an argument about a new tablecloth, and Vegeta had split up with Bulma after he went against her wishes and signed Trunks up early for Orange Star High School instead of a posh private school called Smeltings. Unfortunately the two women got custody over the children at the divorce, because the judge said that even though Goku and Vegeta seemed like excellent parents, he couldn't live with himself if he let children live in a house with such a violent atmosphere.)
" I've got one! " Goku shouted to Vegeta. Vegeta was slumped at the base of a tree bough as Goku clutched an enormous fish the size of a bear. The fish floundered about wildly and Goku had to strain to keep hold of it.
" I don't care Kakarott. We have eaten fish EVERY night this week. I am tired of it. I don't even LIKE fish. "
" Ahhh, come on Vegeta. We have no money because neither of us has a proper job – its all we can afford! Its…arrrghh! "
The giant fish supper had finally escaped the clutches of Gokus powerful hands.
" Congratulations Kakarott. You have let another enemy escape! "
" No need to be bitter Vegeta darling. I can catch another one! "
" You have just took a whole hour to catch that one and…and…and…"
Vegetas sentence strayed as he saw what he thought to be the most beautifully magnificent creature he had ever seen in his whole life.
" Why Kakarott. It's…its…beautiful. I cannot believe my eyes! Look!
