Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha, or any of it's characters in neither manga or anime form. It was created by a genius called Rumiko Takahashi (Takahashi Rumiko) and I am not her.
A/N: Ok... Had to fix it up again, but here it is. My one-shot. Enjoy and review, b/c it's my first attempt at a Sesshomaru poem, or a one-shot... Arigatou.
The words slipped steadily from Kagura's mind, as she raced across the rushing wind on her magic feather. Thoughts of Sesshomaru flowed delicately through her fingers to the book she kept as a diary.
She looked back at Kanna, who was silently watching the valley below, and shivers vibrated down her spine. Her hair and cold eyes reminded her so much of the very man who's name she dared not whisper.
If only she could free herself from Naraku. If she could leave him and be with her beloved Sesshomaru-sama, she knew exactly what she'd do. And what she knew she would do, and how she felt as her thoughts reflected on the Lord of the Western Lands, she scratched into the paper, until it looked something like this:
Sesshy's eyes, so cold and distant,
Will you ever gaze at me?
Moving swiftly, nimbly, quickly.
Heading somewhere I'll never be.
Feeling desperate, all alone,
Though you are beside me,
Those golden amber, glistening eyes
God. I wish you'd hold me!
Longing for your clawed stroke,
But you refuse to touch my skin
Can I ever get through to you?
Will you let me win?
Feeling nails ripple across,
The skin along my back,
Lightly scratching claw marks,
My vision going black.
Your frosted heart, though blood beats hot,
In overwhelming passion and rage,
But only in my fleeting dreams,
For your ardor's locked in a cage
You stare at me coldly,
Knock me to the sand.
I keep taking your cruelty,
Bounce back like a rubber band,
Because I try to open you
Like a book, and read what's inside
The secrets and emotions
That you try to hide
Someday I'll break you,
Make you sweet enough to eat,
But until then my love,
You still have me beat.
Passion exploded her heart as she finished her poem and slammed the book shut. Kanna gaze shifted to her, watching her younger sibling in silence. Kagura hesitated before looking over at Kanna, afraid her sister would read the overwhelming emotions in her face.
"Kanna. To where are we heading again?"
Kanna didn't answer, but Kagura watched as her eyes cast back to the valley long below them.
"That dog demon. Sesshomaru. He is below us."
Kagura's eyes grew wide with surprise as she stared intently at the spot Kanna's eyes focused on. And sure enough, the guy she had barely rid her thoughts of, was racing down below.
Without warning, the demon that controlled the wind dived through the air, sweeping down next to the golden-eyed wonder.
"Sesshomaru." she whispered, smirking at him.
Sesshomaru did not glance at her, but kept running, eyes glazed over with cold, empty emotion.
"Kagura. And Kanna. What? Not with Naraku?"
The very mention of HIM made Kagura redden with rage.
"Obviously not!" Kagura retorted, straightening on her feather.
"Too bad. This Sesshomaru was looking forward to seeing him again." Sesshomaru-sama replied, racing ahead of her.
Kagura rose to the blue sky again, frustrated with the white-haired demon that made her heart race. Would she never get through to him? Was there anyway?
Breaking through her thoughts, Kanna slipped beside Kagura.
"We must turn around. Naraku will be furious."
Kagura simply nodded and headed into the other direction. Best not to think of Sesshomaru anymore, but the blind rage she was going to face when she returned home...
Or what she was told to call home anyway, for she felt her home was with Sesshomaru.
