Look out inside

As time passes me by

Forgetting who I was

What I now am

Leaving behind

Short trails of the past

Falling through

That whirlwind of darkness

My heart, now gone

Slowly becoming

A well known form

Darkness, enveloping like a veil

Recollections of my friends,
