Disclaimer: I don't own or the Rise and Fall

A/N: This is what I call my mourning poem. After reading Chapter 20 I had an inspiration and it came in this sad poem. The poem is about the good Force voice speaking to Jan about Galder.

A Voice in the Force

Child, long have I watched you

In the form of a silent presence.

When you saw him first,

I knew you were the one.

By, what seemed, chance you met again

And the seed was planted.

The seed of trust,

And of hope

The path you walked with him

Was hard and long

But your mind reached for him

As did your heart.

The darkness sent a stranger to you both

In hopes of destroying the trust you'd made.

But the seed I'd sowed

Grew strong within your heart.

I thought my task was done.

When you listened to my words

He had finally given in.

But doubt can be a clever poison.

Falling

Falling

Falling

Your slipping, child, slipping

I did not see this enemy coming.

You were blind to this new darkness.

He came in the form of a friend

And you just failed to see.

A wolf is what he is

Beautiful and cunning

But his bite does sting

And his heart, you want, is filled with deceit.

This affliction has hurt the hero now.

Pain from the blow you dealt him

But the true agony

Comes from the knife in his heart.

Have I failed to save you?

You continue to let go

Of the one man

You truly want the most.

The evil one continues to win

And you follow him, child.

The love you feel in your mind

Is not within your heart.

You're falling

Slipping and falling again.

You must catch yourself, child

On this it all depends.

A/N: So was it good? Did you get the point Shanesnest?
