The first thing he noticed about the other boy was the way just about everyone else gaped him. That, and his eyes were odd. So white you couldn't tell pupil from iris from the rest of his eye.
Only the arrival of their teacher prevented Lee from going over and waving his hand in the other boy's face and asking how many fingers could he see.
He nudged the girl next to him, the one who'd told him to shut up before. "Why are his eyes so white?"
Tenten frowned at him, like he should know. "Lee, he's a Hyuuga."
