I wrote this on the 7th of July 2005 as my way of honouring those who died or lost a loved one in London as well as all of those people who have suffered from terrorism all over the world. Living in England it was just something I had to do, when I heard about what had happened I was watching a DBZ replay and moulded my dedication around that.
Remembrance…
We won't forget you even though you're gone
I know it's tough but we'll have to move on
Step upon step, lie upon lie
All of this happened on the 7th of July
A saiyan Prince who understands death
A commoner who protects the world with each and every breath
Yet neither of them could predict the worse
From all that they've seen these murders a curse
There are no words fitting, to describe all this pain
At present what we need, is people to blame
The Prince and the commoner stood on the cusp
Of worlds turned to rubble and lives turned to dust
Hero's in name, hero's in heart
Not even they could stop what did start
No dragonballs to wish upon to take back today
Just lives to remould from broken old clay
Stars in the heavens that offer some hope
But people have lost too much to know how to cope
Prayers for loved ones and people we don't know
We ask for new faith and plead upon us you bestow
Saiyans stood quiet with heads gently bowed
Whispering prayers with words so renowned
Tears falling from eyes for all of the dead
Hearts now broken and heavy as lead
Their children look on asking them why
The two saiyans don't answer just stare at the sky
We think we can handle things we cannot
These people gave their lives for what we forgot
Soft Sakura blossoms blown from the trees
Hovering around the Saiyans on bended knees
A moment of remembrance for all of those lost
For everyone who paid the ultimate cost…

A/N- just so you know this is basically Vegeta and Goku having a moment of remembrance for all of the dead with Goten, Trunks and Gohan wondering why before following their father's actions. I know that this isn't going to help anyone who lost a family member or a friend but it was all I could do. My thoughts and prayers are with all of those who were injured or died and the families of those people.
