A/N: Woah. So, who's just seen "Bad Wolf". Freaky episode or what? Still, there were a couple of Dr/Rose bits I couldn't pass up. Here's one. It's the Doctor's POV, when he's looking at the pile of dust, thinking Rose is dead.

I promised to keep her safe. Not just to her mum. I couldn't give a damn what Jackie thinks at the minute. I promised myself I'd keep her safe. I can't loose her.
She can't be gone. She just can't.
Oh god. I want to cry. Yes, me. The last of the great Time Lords, wants to cry over a stupid little ape. But she's more than an ape to me. She's my companion, my best friend…the woman I love. She's all that, and I still can't cry. She's worth more than tears.
She's gone. And it's all my fault. If I hadn't brought her with me, she'd still be alive.
Right….
She won't die in vain. The bastards behind this will pay. I'll make sure. Her death won't be meaningless. I'll make them feel like I do – like the thing that's most precious to them has just been snatched from right under their noses.
I swear I will.
Well, that came out different than I expected, but I'm still quite pleased with it. I'm thinking of doing one from Jack's POV too. What do you guys think?
