beep beep beep she reached over groggily and hit her alarm clock only succeeding to knock it off. She sat up and looked closer at the clock. "Oh no I'm gonna be late again. Arrgh." The tall dark haired girl quickly ran out of her room only to be knocked down by someone who was so rudely blocking the hallway. "What was that for?" came a muffled yell from the girl. "I should be asking you the same thing." The girl jumped up at the recognition of the voice. "Inu-yasha came a squeak as the girl launched herself at the half demon, knocking them both to the floor. As she finished her breakfast she grabbed up her bag and ran out the door only remembering to give her mother a quick kiss on the cheek before she left. "Finally," she thought to herself, "I'm going back to school and I will get to see my friends." As she closed her eyes and thought dreamily of the exchange student whom she had me last year, his name was Harry, Harry Potter, she knew it was love at first sight. She was suddenly awoke from her daydream when she ran into some one and was knocked to the ground. As she slowly stood up a strong soft hand found its way into hers and she felt herself slowly being lifted up off the ground, as she was about to give a sharp reprimand, beautiful amber eyes met her blue ones and she stood there speechless. He was the first to make a sound. "I'm so sorry are you okay?" "Ye-yeah I think so, I'm sorry I wasn't watching were I was going, are you okay?" Said Kagome, her heart was racing, as she stood mesmerized by those amber eyes. "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm Inu-yasha by the way." "Well it's nice to meet you Inu-yasha. My name's Kagome." She said looking at the ground and blushing furiously. "Ka-go-me he said sounding out the syllables, what a beautiful name." Again Kagome started to blush. "What did I say something to offend you?" He said looking slightly confused. "Oh my" Kagome thought, "this whole time he's been holding my hand and for some reason I don't mind." For some reason she could not tear her eyes away from his amber ones, but some where in the back off her mind there was a nagging sensation that she was forgetting something. Then it dawned on her. "Oh my gosh I'm going to be late for school!" Inu-yasha had begun to realize this too and quickly dropped her hand even though he too realized that it felt right. "Umm, can you help me get to the school, I'm slightly lost…." Inu-yasha said as he looked at the ground and shuffled his feet." Kagome felt her heart melt, "Of course what school are you going to", and as she said this she realized that that was a stupid question. "Never mind there is only one school." She mentally smacked herself in the head. As they walked Kagome and Inu-yasha talked realizing that neither one wanted to be apart.
