Chapter 3- And So It Begins
Authors Note- I'm sorry each chapter is so short but I am not as old as most people here and I don't have much time to write. I wrote this whole story on a six-hour drive to New Jersey. I hope you like it so far.
July 1, 5:30 A.M.- I awoke this morning to discover an owl perched upon my windowsill. It has what looks like parchment attached to its leg. I'm dying to take it off but I'm not going to. Owls can be quite dirty. I can actually see the dirt on this one. Mother Blake says tthat we might be moving to Loundon, England soon. Never, could I forget good ol' New York City. July 1, 6:30A.M. - I have decide on writing in this diary every hour. Just proves how bored one person can get. That owl is still here. I used to have a pet bird. It was huge. A parrot. It's name was Lucinda and I taught it to say five sentences. I want a craker. I'm going to find you. Where Are you? Hello, How is your day so far? And... I love you, Katherine. It was simple, really. One day a friend of mine was over. We were hoarsing around with Lucinda. On the thrid floor, where we were, there was an open window and Lucinda flew out it. That wa the last time I saw her. I have everything she ever used in a locked room. Including her cage, which I might put this owl in soon. I'll think on it...
