Chapter one
"Ne, the stars are pretty tonight," a figure leaned on Tezuka's chest as they looked up into the glittery night.
"Hn," Tezuka barely replied. A laugh came from the boy leaning on his chest
"I like that one." he pointed to a star that seemed to glow red, truly a unique star.
"Really? Why?" Tezuka wrapped his arms around the one in front of him, giving a rare show of affection.
"I don't know, just because," came the nonchalant reply.
"Ah…."
"Kunimitsu? Kunimistu!..." a spray of blood dotted Tezuka's face as he ………
The young captain sat up, breath harsh and eyes wide open. He only had dr4eams for the first few weeks, why were they coming back now? Getting his body back under control, he glanced at the clock beside him. 5:03am, the numbers blared in a bright red as he silently registered the time. Knowing that sleep was not to befall him again, he got up and began his morning rituals.

"Yosh! Club members 20 laps around the courts! Regulars 40!" Tezuka's voice rang out across the tennis courts. Grumbles that had began to rise soon dissipated with one glance at Inui's latest concoction. Tezuka sighed as he started to run with his schoolmates. He felt tired and nervous, which unknowingly showed in his running pattern. Inui, the observant one, took notice in this, mentally recording it into his data files.
"Tezuka." The one named turned his head in acknowledgement to Fuji.
"Hm?" a mild look of curiosity overtook his usual stoic face.
"Would you like to accompany me to the Summer Festival this coming weekend?"
A brief flash of shock gleamed in his eyes as he mused over the questions. Seeing no harm in accepting, he nodded his and went on his way home.
