Summary: A year after Tidus's disappearance, his reincarnation appears on Besaid Island while Yuna is off sphere hunting. Can they refresh his memory, and was Sin ever truly distroyed?

Chapter 1: Back Again
It was a bright sunny morning at the island of Besaid. A slight breeze blew ripples in the salty green-blue waters. Seagulls flew over old machina hidden in the trees while some rose high enough to see.
Wakka was standing on the beach with the Besaid Auroch team. "So," he questioned, "now that I'm retired, which one of you is gonna be the new team captain?"
Letty, Datto, Botta, and Keepa all exchanged glances then looked back at Wakka shrugging.
"Don't worry about it. You have an entire year to decide, ya?" Wakka said using his hands to explain. They all nodded and began to practice.
Lulu walked to Wakka's side and stared at the ocean. "This is the same spot that you met him isn't it?"
A/N: No this isn't a yaoi fic in case any of you were thinking that.
Wakka seemed a little uncomfortable with this subject. "Yeah..., he was just floating in the sea. After we knocked him in the head with our ball, he kicked it back," he sighed. "I remember it all very clearly, ya?"
Lulu smiled, "Yes, I met him in the chamber after the Cloister of Trials." She turned to Wakka, "So, how long has it been?"
"It's been a year since that day. The day Sin was defeated, the day Auron was sent to the Farplane, and the day Tidus disappeared," Wakka stated clenching his fists and gritting his teeth.
"That was a great loss to all of us," Lulu said lowering her head and crossing her arms, "but I think Yuna has suffered the most."
"Yeah, she just took off and left Besaid without a word to anyone, and she's only been back here once since then," Wakka replied as several seagulls flew rapidly onto the shore. Wakka and Lulu watched them curiously.
"Hey, what's that?" Wakka asked pointing out into the ocean.
Lulu strained her eyes to see then widened them, "It couldn't be..."
A teenage boy was swimming toward the shore. "Heeey!" he shouted swimming even faster.
He finally reached the shore. Wakka and Lulu looked at him strangely as did the Aurochs. The boy had blonde spikey hair and blue eyes. He had on yellow shoes, black shorts with one side longer than the other, and a yellow shirt with a hood on the back.
"Um..., where am I, and why is everyone staring?" he asked looking around.
"Wh-what's your name?" Wakka studdered while Lulu was too shocked to even speak a word.
"My name's Tidus," he said putting his hand behind his head.
"It really is you!" Wakka shouted putting an arm around Tidus's neck and rubbing his hair with his fist.
"Hey cut it out!" Tidus shouted pushing Wakka off him. "What's going on?"
"You really don't remember do you?" Lulu asked walking closer to him.
"What am I supposed to remember?" he asked crossing his arms. Wakka just lowered his head.
Lulu shook her head and looked back at him, "Tell me, where did you come from?"
"I came from Zanarkand."
"How could you come from there when that city was destroyed over a thousand years ago?" Lulu asked crossing her arms.
"What? That thing brought me a thousand years into the future?"
Wakka and Lulu quickly stiffened. "What do you mean by 'that thing'?" Lulu asked curiously.
"Well, people were running and shouting, 'Sin!'."
