Harry's Idea of a Date

"I've got you now, Harry!"
Harry Potter looked over his shoulder and grinned. Cho grinned back, her black dress shimmering in the moonlight. They flew over Hogsmeade in a matter of seconds.
Then Harry pulled up until he was flying upside down. A few unnecessary corkscrew maneuvers followed, before he righted himself. Just up ahead, the lake of the merpeople beckoned. Harry stopped so dramatically over the water that he created small ripples on its surface.
Cho slowed down to a stop alongside him. "You are such a showoff."
Harry swept his sweetheart up into his arms and kissed her, tasting red wine. They were surrounded by the smell of the damp Hogwarts grounds. Below them, their reflections moved with the surface of the water. And all around them, the crickets droned on, oblivious.
Cho tapped Harry's arm, and he let her down. "Darling?" she whispered, stepping back onto her broom.
Harry met her eye and leaned closer to her. "Mm hm?"
She ran her slender hand along his back. "Tag. You're it." And then—ever so gently—she pushed him, and he fell headlong into the lake.
