It's days like these, days when the case does affect me. Days I spend in quiet agony, trying not to show how much I hurt. I can't let my pain cloud my judgment. Yes, I know. I know you think my emotionless mask is pointless, but if I didn't I'd burn out. Point is, it's days like these I feel I can't go on. Then, I walk into the break room and see you joking around with Nick, or Warrick, or Greg. Or you walk by, smiling at me for absolutely no reason, just to see me smile back, and I could kiss you senseless. Days like these I love you so completely. Days like these, you see me through.
