The Executor of Balance Watches
I watch as time goes by as stars of destiny are born and some of them die but one thing remains a constant one thing drives them all. That one thing is the leader the one chosen by Fate or by the True Runes is a better sense of the word. I have been around for a long time and have seen several things. I have seen a young man beat the curse of the Rune of Punishment and lived to tell the tale. He now travels the world alone and protects the rune from those you would want to use it including Holy Harmonia. Holy Harmonia a greedy country always after True Runes it is there that I met my two finest apprentices Luc and Sarah. Poor Luc, I knew his destiny when I first met him his destiny to challenge fate and to fight in three wars started by the True Runes. He wished his soul destroyed I wonder if he ever considering asking the bearer of the Soul Eater to take his soul. The Soul Eater bearer has a curse just as bad as the bear of the Rune of Punishment everyone who gets close to him the Soul Eater takes in my time I have seen two bearers. Ted was a boy who didn't understand his destiny until he met the Punishment bearer on the Fog Ship. It will take him another 150 years until he met his best friend and the true successor to the True Rune of Life and Death.
There are True Successors I believe the ones that the runes themselves choose above all others to be their successors. The runes test them by challenging them in wars and battles and if they succeeded then they get the full benefits and curse of the True Rune. One such benefit comes with never growing old I haven't age since I received mine it reminds me of when I met two boys both of them best friends and on parallel paths I decided to guide them to the Rune of Beginning to end a war started by the Beast Rune and a Mad Prince. These two boys split their paths one chose honor and love and the other chose deceit and also some betrayal it ended up with them on opposite side of the chess board and leaders of different nations waging war against each other. They finally settle their differences and they travel together now with their best friend one of the boy's sister.
The world will know no more True Rune wars for 16 years until Luc, Sarah, and two others start a war that came close to destroying the whole world. Luc was so bent on destroying his soul he started to seek the Elemental True Runes. I decided not to interfere knowing the Stars of Destiny and the Successors would stop him. He finally was stop by an young man from a village of Natives, a woman with silver hair, and a man with one eye. This world is safe again but I wonder when it will be threaten again by another person seeking the True Runes. I remember telling the bearer of the True Rune of Punishment that people always seek the Runes of Fate and it seems that is true as of late. I know for a fact Harmonia will stop at nothing to get their hands on the 27 true runes but they have been passive lately. Who knows time will tell and I have all eternity to muse, as do all the True Rune Bearers.
