It was late as a young child had gotten off a bus in Springfield. They looked around and grabbed their bag from the bus and started to go to a motel. As he did so, a police car drove past him. When he saw the first motel he got to, he noticed the sign needed to be fixed. He kept walking until he got to a convenience store called the Kwik-E-Mart. He walked inside and the shopkeeper looked at him.
"May I help you, sir?" They asked. The child grabbed a bottle of spring water and put it on the counter with a $20 bill.
"Keep the change." The kid said. He then walked out, grabbing the bottle, and opened the water, drinking some of it. He then walked more until he got to a house. It was then he noticed a car backing up fast… and coming right towards him! He jumped out of the way in time and someone in the car gasped.
"Oh, my gosh!" A voice said. The kid looked at the driver and had an angered look on his face.
"Watch where your driving, jerk!" He said. The occupants of the car then got out and a girl his age approached him.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
"Yeah," he said, "I'm fine. Not the first time I've almost been run over." A woman then knelt down in front of him, looking concerned.
"What's your name?" She asked.
"Adam." The child said.
"What's your last name?" The girl asked.
"Hotchner." The kid said.
"Hah! You're named after a Criminal Minds character!" A boy said.
"Bart! Don't tease him!" The woman said.
"Why aren't you at home?" The girl asked. Adam looked solemn and lowered his head.
"I have no home." He said.
"What?" The girl asked.
"My parents are dead," Adam said, "and I have no place to live. I'm on my own." The girl looked at the woman.
"Mom," she said, "can he stay with us?"
"We'll have to ask your father." The woman said.
"I have enough mouths to feed as it is!" A man said.
"Would you rather me report you to the cops for reckless driving and reckless endangerment of a child?" Adam asked. The man tensed up.
"Get in. We're going out to eat." He said. Adam got up and placed his bag in the back of the car before looking at the seats.
"Where will I sit?" Adam asked.
"You can sit with me!" The girl said.
"Absolutely not!" The man said.
"I can still change my mind, you know." Adam said.
"D'oh!" The man said. Adam then sat next to the girl and she closed the door. The man then drove off and the girl looked inquisitively at Adam, who sighed soon after.
"Ask away." He said.
"Where are you from?" The girl asked.
"Quantico, Virginia." Adam said.
"Long way from Quantico." The man said.
"Just focus on the road," Adam said, "and keep your trap shut!"
"Yes, sir." The man said, shutting up.
"Wow," the boy said, "and I thought only Mr. Burns could get him to shut up that fast!"
"Pipe down! I just want to ride in silence!" Adam said.
"Yes, sir." The boy said. Adam then closed his eyes and the girl was stunned.
'Is he meditating while the car is moving?' She thought.
'Of all the days to nearly be hit,' Adam thought, 'why did it have to be today?! What did I do to deserve this?!' The car then stopped and went into park. Adam opened his eyes and saw that they had parked at a restaurant called 'The Gilded Truffle.'
"Alright," the woman said, "let's go." They all got out of the car and Adam looked around, scanning the area. He looked behind and saw a boy his age running towards them and had a hand out, ready to grab the girl's purse. Adam got in front of the girl and caught the boy before flipping him over and pinning him on his stomach, holding an arm behind him.
"Ow! OW!" The boy yelled.
"Whoa!" The girl said.
"Who are you?!" Adam asked.
"What's going on here?!" A voice asked. Adam looked and saw a police officer. He lifted the boy up and kept him subdued.
"He tried stealing her purse." Adam said.
"Is that true?" The officer asked.
"So what?!" The boy asked.
"Shut up!" Adam said, tightening his grip.
"YEOWCH!" The boy yelled.
"Chief Wiggum," the woman said, "this boy really did try to steal Lisa's purse."
"Adam merely intervened and stopped him!" The girl said.
"Alright, alright! I'll take him from here." The officer said. Adam then pushed the boy to the officer, who caught him and put him in cuffs before putting him in the back of his car.
"Make sure you mirandize him before you question him." Adam said.
"How do you know about police procedure?" The officer asked.
"I'm wanting to go into law enforcement." Adam said.
"Makes sense." The officer said. They then got in their car and drove off. Adam sighed and the girl approached him.
"Thanks for stopping him." She said.
"No need. You'd have to be an idiot to not help someone as pretty as you." Adam said.
"Y-you think I'm pretty?" The girl asked, blushing a bit.
"Who wouldn't?" Adam asked. He then walked ahead of the others and held the door open for them.
"What a gentleman!" The man said, going ahead of the others. Adam, however, stopped him by punching him in the gut. The blow knocked the wind out of the man and he looked at Adam.
"Ladies first, fatso." He said.
"Oh, my." The girl swooned.
[A few moments later….]
They were all sitting at a table and the woman was smiling.
"Allow us to introduce ourselves. My name is Marge Simpson. This is my husband, Homer." Marge said.
"Sorry I almost ran you over." Homer said.
"These three are our children: Bart, Lisa, and Maggie." Marge said.
"Sup!" Bart said. Maggie gave a small wave, and Lisa just stared at Adam.
"Um… Lisa?" Adam asked. A waiter then came by and Lisa got their attention.
"Is there a way we could have a separate table on the same ticket?" She asked.
"But of course! Which of you will sit there?" The waiter asked.
"Me and one other person. This table is a bit too crowded." Lisa said.
"Very well." The waiter said. Lisa then got up and Adam moved to let her out. However, he felt her grab his hand and she leaned close to him.
"I need to speak with you privately." She whispered.
"Do you have any seating available to where we can have some privacy?" Adam asked.
"Follow me." The waiter said. Lisa and Adam then followed the waiter and they saw some staff approach the table they were at, preventing Marge from following them. The two were then led outside the restaurant and a limo pulled up. The window rolled down to reveal the most notorious mob boss in Springfield: Fat Tony.
"You wanted some privacy, little miss?" He asked.
"Yes, sir. I need to speak with him about something." Lisa said.
"May I inquire as to what?" Fat Tony asked. Adam then caught on and got serious.
"That depends. Do you plan on blackmailing either of us depending on what is said?" He asked. Fat Tony tensed up and started sweating at the neck and brow.
"Just who are you?" Fat Tony asked.
"His name is Adam Hotchner." Lisa said. After she said his name, Fat Tony tensed up further and Lisa knew.
'He IS here for a reason.' She thought.
"I know of the perfect place. Allow me to pay for your meals." Fat Tony said. He then got out of the limo and the rest of his crew got out after him. Lisa and Adam then got in and Fat Tony went to the driver.
"Where should I take them?" They asked.
"The most expensive place in town." Fat Tony said.
"Are you serious?!" The driver asked.
"That boy is too good for this place. He needs to eat somewhere he can relax and not worry about getting sick. Same for the girl." Fat Tony said.
"You really DO mean it! You don't want them to get hurt!" The driver said.
"Get them out of here," Fat Tony said, "and do NOT record them!" The driver nodded and drove off, rolling the back windows up and putting the divider up. Adam looked at Lisa and stayed serious.
"Looks like I'm not the only genius child." He said.
"Who do you work for?" Lisa asked.
"FBI." Adam said.
"Where's your badge?" Lisa asked.
"In my bag. I was sent here because we were alerted that someone planned on making a bomb." Adam said.
"Who?" Lisa asked.
"Your brother." Adam said.
"That would explain why he's been acting weird lately. All he's gotten are supplies." Lisa said.
"What kind?" Adam asked.
"The type of supplies you use to make a stink bomb." Lisa said.
"Then why did he purchase the stuff to make TATP?" Adam asked. Lisa looked shocked, but understood.
"I want to help. I can get him to talk." Lisa said.
"I think we know EXACTLY who to talk to." Adam said. Lisa nodded and the limo had stopped. The divider lowered and the driver looked back.
"Looks like we have a traffic jam, you two. It's gonna be awhile before we get moving again." They said.
"Thanks for letting us know." Adam said. The divider went back up and Lisa got closer to Adam.
"Guess we need to stay productive." She said.
"How?" Adam asked. Lisa blushed a bit before placing a hand on his leg.
"I can think of ONE way." She said.
"We're just children ourselves!" Adam said.
"I know," Lisa said, "but I'd rather it be you than anyone else."
"We just met! What would your parents say?!" Adam asked.
"This is the one time I don't care what they think." Lisa said.
'She means it! She wants me to do this with her!' Adam thought.
"Plus," Lisa said, straddling Adam while facing him, "I want to PROPERLY thank you for protecting me from that thief." The way Lisa looked at that moment was akin to a Goddess.
"Damn, you look beautiful." Adam said.
"Shut up and kiss me, you fool." Lisa said.
[ WARNING! The following scene is not meant to be viewed by anyone under the age of 18! Discretion is advised! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!]
Adam then kissed Lisa and she returned the kiss in volumes. As they kissed, Lisa was undoing his belt and pants, as well as unbuttoning his shirt. Simultaneously, Adam was working on taking off Lisa's dress, feeling every part underneath it. Lisa broke the kiss and Adam had succeeded in taking her dress off. He then got on top of her and she took his clothes off him, leaving only his underwear. That was when Lisa noticed how built Adam was.
"You're only my age," she said, "but you have this much muscle?"
"You'd be surprised." Adam said.
"I think I'm starting to get the meaning of 'turned on' just from looking at you." Lisa said.
"I can tell." Adam said. Lisa blushed as she realized it.
"Go easy on me." She said, smiling a bit.
"Don't worry," Adam said, placing a hand on her face, "I'll be gentle."
"Then stop with the foreplay." Lisa said. Adam gave a grin and leaned down.
"Like I'd let you be hurt." Adam said. He then kissed Lisa's neck, earning a gasp of pleasure. He continued his onslaught of kisses until he started to gently suck on Lisa's neck.
"Ooh~!" Lisa moaned. Adam then sent a trail of kisses down her neck to her chest, causing her breath to quicken.
'He knows how to pleasure a girl. Just how many has he been with?' Lisa thought. Adam then stopped at her bust, gently rubbing her nipples with one hand.
'Her skin is so soft. She must use some sort of lotion.' He thought. Adam gave a lick to one of Lisa's nipples and she gasped.
"Oh, Adam~!" Lisa said. Adam then started to lightly suck on Lisa's nipples, earning a moan of pleasure. In response to that, Lisa ran a hand through his hair before using her other hand to rub his crotch.
'He needs to be pleasured, too.' Lisa thought. Adam then kissed Lisa passionately and she rubbed faster. After a moment, she stopped as Adam was sending a trail of kisses down her body. As he did so, he was carefully removing her underwear. She did nothing to stop him, but lifted her legs and butt up to make it easier. When she had put her legs down, Lisa had opened them to give him more access.
"You weren't kidding. You're completely soaked down here." Adam said. Lisa blushed further Adam leaned down and gave a gentle breath on her soaked "entrance" to entice her.
"Gah! Don't tease me like that, Adam!" Lisa said.
"Your body seems to like it." Adam said. That's when Lisa said a phrase not even her mother would believe.
"Then let my body feel you reward it by eating out my pussy like it was an all-you-can-eat buffet." Lisa spoke. Adam blushed intensely, but grinned.
"How can I say 'no' to such a gorgeous face such as yours?" He asked. Before Lisa could respond, Adam gave her [Author's Note: Might as well say it] pussy a soft, slow lick. Lisa gasped loudly before placing a hand on his head. He then started an onslaught of licks, light nibbles, and gentle sucks.
"Oh, Adam~! Keep going~!" Lisa moaned. Adam kept this going for a bit before inserting his tongue. This caused her to push his head further in between her legs, making his tongue go deeper inside.
'She REALLY enjoys this! I wonder how much stress has been put on her. I can probably guess since she has to deal with a drunk father, an overprotective mother, and a delinquent brother. The only one in her family she has no stress over is her baby sister.' Adam thought. Adam rubbed his tongue across a spot and that caused her pussy to tighten.
"Oh! Right there~! That's the spot~! Lick right there~!" Lisa moaned. Adam complied with it before hearing her breaths quicken.
'Is she about to do what I think she is?!' Adam thought.
"Oh, Adam, you're so good at this~! I don't care how many girls you've been with! I want you~!" Lisa moaned.
'Holy shit, she IS about to do what I think she is!' Adam thought. With one more gasp, Lisa buried Adam's face into her pussy further.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH~~~~!" Lisa moaned. She then shot fluid out of her pussy and into Adam's mouth. Adam took it all in and swallowed. Lisa panted and let him up for air, causing him to pant.
"Holy shit, Lisa! How much stress have you been under?!" Adam asked.
"Probably as much as you," Lisa said, "if not more." Adam then got away from Lisa, only for her to stop him as she noticed a small bulge in his underwear. She then rubbed the bulge a bit before starting to lower Adam's underwear.
"What are you doing?" Adam asked.
"It's not fair if I'm the only one who feels pleasure. You deserve it, too." Lisa said. She then completely removed his underwear and looked at his member. Her eyes widened a bit and she gave a smile while blushing.
"Like what you see?" Adam asked. Lisa didn't even say a word. She simply grabbed his member and started to gently stroke it.
"I want to see how big it can get!" Lisa said. She then gave the tip a soft peck before putting the tip in her mouth and gently sucking.
'Holy shit! Even though I can tell this is her first blowjob,' Adam thought, 'she is AMAZING! What did she practice with?'
"Mmmmmmmmmm~!" Lisa moaned. The vibration traveled up Adam's member and he instinctively thrust forward. What he DIDN'T plan on was something to shoot out before the fun even started.
'There goes that.' Adam thought. Lisa had swallowed it before looking at him.
"Guess I was so good your body gave me an early reward." Lisa said. Adam blushed in pure embarrassment.
"Sorry." He said.
"Don't be. I enjoyed it~." Lisa said, seductively. She then pulled Adam to her and blushed intensively.
'What is she wanting now?' Adam thought.
"You should know what comes next, right?" Lisa asked. Before Adam could respond, Lisa had opened her legs further and held her pussy open.
"Are you sure you want this?" Adam asked.
"I'm sure. You won't be able to get me pregnant," Lisa said, "so it's the safest way. I won't fight it. Take me, Adam. Fuck my virgin pussy!" Adam blushed intensely, but lowered himself and lined up with her pussy. He gave a few prods, coating his member with her juices, before gently sticking it in. The both of them had gasped and Lisa gripped Adam tight.
'Damn, she is tighter than Dr. Dre and Eminem!' Adam thought, gently pushing all the way in until the base of his member touched her.
"Oh, shit!" Lisa said.
"You okay?" Adam asked.
"Yeah," Lisa answered, "I'm okay. Just… just give me a moment to adjust to it. I'll be fine after a bit."
"I won't move until you tell me." Adam said. Lisa then kissed Adam passionately and he held her close.
'No turning back. I have to do this now. This is for science!' Lisa thought.
'I pray to God her father keeps his cool after learning about this.' Adam thought. Lisa then broke the kiss and looked into Adam's eyes.
"I…. I think you can move now." She said.
"You sure?" Adam asked. Lisa gave a nod.
"Go ahead." She said. Adam then slowly and gently started to pull out, before pushing back in.
'Holy shit!' They both thought.
"A-aaaahhhh~!" Lisa moaned. Adam kept a slow rhythm going, making sure that Lisa wasn't in much pain.
"Ooh, yeah. I bet that feels good." Adam said.
"It really does~. Oh~." Lisa moaned. Adam placed a hand on her cheek and she looked deep into his eyes.
'I see no wrongful intentions in him. I…. I think I might be falling in love with him!' Lisa thought.
"God, you're so beautiful." Adam said. Lisa smiled and gave a nod.
"G-go faster. I can take it." She said. Adam then sped up a bit, but stayed soft as to not hurt Lisa.
"That good?" He asked.
"Faster," Lisa said, "and harder! Make my body shudder in excitement from your thrusts!"
'How can I not?' Adam thought. Adam listened and Lisa gasped.
"Oh, yes~! That's it! Keep it going! Oh, yes~!" Lisa moaned.
"You like that?" Adam asked.
"I love it! Oh, fuck me harder!" Lisa said. Adam started thrusting harder and felt Lisa wrap her legs around his waist.
'She wants me to release inside her!' Adam thought.
'I need to feel the full effect for science!' Lisa thought.
'I guess I have no other choice.' Adam thought. He then started to thrust as fast and as hard as possible, earning a gasp and loud moan from Lisa.
"Oh, fuck! That's it! Ah~! Oh~, fuck me! Ah~! Keep fucking my pussy until we're both done and spent! I don't care HOW many times it is! Don't stop!" Lisa said.
"Oh, fuck, you're so tight! It's like you're clamping on a vice grip itself!" Adam said.
"That's because you're so big! Ah~! Oh, fuck! I…. I'm gonna…. AAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAH~!" Lisa moaned, squirting fluids out. Adam pulled out so she could before she looked at him and got on her hands and knees.
'Is she thinking what I think she is?' He thought. Lisa then looked at him and opened her pussy again.
"Fuck me from behind." She said.
"You're the boss." Adam said. He then inserted himself again and started fucking her from behind.
"Ah~! Oh, yes! Fuck~!" Lisa moaned. As if on instinct, Adam had smacked Lisa's butt, causing her to squeal in pleasure.
"You like that? Huh?!" Adam asked, smacking her butt again.
"AH~! Oh, fuck, yes! Spank me harder~! I've been such a naughty girl~!" Lisa said. Adam slapped her butt harder and Lisa let out another squeal of pleasure. Adam then grabbed her butt and massaged it before slapping it again and getting another squeal of pleasure.
'I think she wants me to break her mind to where she wants nothing but for me to fuck her!' Adam thought.
"Oh, fuck! Harder! Give it to me harder! Hah~! Hah~! FUCK! Turn me into slut that craves nothing but your cock in my pussy every night!" Lisa said. A pressure then built up inside Adam as he started to thrust as hard as possible, earning multiple moans and squeals of pleasure.
"I think I'm getting close!" Adam warned.
"Don't pull out! Keep going! I want it inside!" Lisa said.
"Oh, fuck! I can't pull out even if I tried! It feels too good!" Adam said.
"Yes~! Don't hold back! FILL ME WITH YOUR SEED!" Lisa exclaimed.
"Oh, fuck! I can't hold back!" Adam said.
"Yes~! Oh, yes~! YES~! A-A-ADAAAAAAAM~~~~!" Lisa moaned.
"Oh, fuck! LISAAAAAA!" Adam yelled. At that moment, with a single thrust, Adam shot his sperm into Lisa's womb, causing her to moan loud enough to wake up a neighborhood if the back of the limo wasn't soundproof. The two panted heavily and Adam pulled out of Lisa, collapsing behind her. Lisa looked back at him and lied next to him, kissing him passionately. Adam returned the kiss and soon fell asleep. Lisa had fallen asleep soon after. However, even as they slept, the two of them were fucking. Even as the traffic started moving again, Adam and Lisa were fucking in their sleep. They never stopped for any reason.
[ End Scene]
The next day came and Adam and Lisa found themselves in a fancy hotel room, and both of them were naked. They had woken up at the same time and tensed up when they saw each other.
"AAAAAAH!" They yelled.
"Did I?! Did we?! What happened last night?!" Adam asked. At that moment, it all came flooding back to them. They both blushed and Lisa looked to the side.
"So…. I guess this means we're dating now." She said. However, something felt off.
'Is there something on my finger?' Adam thought. He looked on his finger and tensed up. Lisa looked at him before noticing the ring.
"Did you get that last night?" She asked. Adam looked at her and noticed one on her finger.
"You have one, too!" He said. Lisa looked and saw hers before tensing up.
"How did this happen?!" She asked.
"I don't know," Adam said, "but we're apparently more than just dating."
"What do you mean?" Lisa asked.
"Look at our rings. They're not some average, everyday ones you can get at a gas station. Look on what hand and what finger they're on." Adam said. Lisa did just that and made a stunning realization.
"They're on our left ring fingers. These are WEDDING BANDS!" Lisa exclaimed.
"Somehow," Adam said, "we got married last night. I think we need to talk to Fat Tony about this."
"After we get dressed and eat." Lisa said.
"Get dressed in what? We have no clothes!" Adam said.
"This hotel has to have some robes somewhere." Lisa said. The both of them got out of bed and started looking for robes, only to find none. Adam looked out the window and saw several people outside, and they were all NAKED!
"I think we're at a nudist hotel." Adam said.
"I think you're right." Lisa said. The two of them then walked out of the room and went downstairs, seeing Fat Tony.
"Did you two sleep well?" He asked.
"Cut the crap, Fat Tony! Why do Lisa and I have wedding bands on our fingers, and how did we get here?!" Adam asked. After a moment of shock, Fat Tony sighed and looked down.
"Forgive me. When my limo driver found the two of you," he spoke, "he called me and told me what had transpired. I instructed him to bring the two of you here, as the two of you were asleep."
"What about the rings?" Lisa asked.
"A gift to the both of you from me. You see," Fat Tony said, "I knew the look in your eyes, little miss. It was that of true love. After hearing of what happened in my limo, I figured I'd save your parents the trouble of having him take responsibility. Not that he wouldn't."
"What do you mean?" Lisa asked.
"I know that the man you gave your virginity to is with the FBI." Fat Tony said. Lisa gasped and Adam stood ready to fight.
"What are you going to do with me?" He asked.
"I wish no harm on you. In fact," Fat Tony said, "I want to help you. I know where Bart Simpson got the blueprints for that bomb he's making."
"Who told you?!" Adam asked.
"Word about Bart travels fast in Springfield. Not even I am safe from his devious pranks." Fat Tony said.
"Where did Bart get the blueprints?" Lisa asked.
"He got them from the one person you wouldn't expect: Sideshow Bob." Fat Tony said.
"Why would Bart go to him?!" Lisa asked.
"It's best we ask him directly. Where's our clothes?" Adam asked.
"I had them dry cleaned. I also told Lisa's parents that I paid for the two of you to have a relaxing spa trip." Fat Tony said.
"How will we explain the rings?" Lisa asked.
"I've already told your parents that the two of you needed to be portrayed as a married couple to be at the spa," Fat Tony said, "and that you needed to have the rings on at all times so no one gets suspicious." Two of Fat Tony's goons then held out Adam and Lisa's clothes. They took them and put them on.
"Thank you, Fat Tony." Adam said.
"No thanks is necessary. Congratulations to you both." Fat Tony said. Lisa and Adam then walked out and Adam saw Marge waiting.
"How was it?" She asked.
"Much needed." Adam said.
"Let's get the two of you out of here." Marge said. Adam sighed and looked at the back before seeing his bag wasn't there.
"Where's my bag?" He asked.
"Relax! I took it to the house last night and put it in Lisa's room. That's where you'll be staying until we can help you get a place of your own." Marge said.
"What about Lisa? Where's she gonna sleep?" Adam asked.
"She has a sleepover tonight at a friend's house. She won't be home." Marge said. That set off alarms in Adam's head, and Lisa knew it.
"You left his stuff in my room knowing BART and DAD were home?!" Lisa asked. Marge soon giggled and looked at them while stopping at a red light.
"Why are you so concerned? Bart knows not to go in your room." She asked.
"Has that stopped him before?" Adam asked. Marge's eyes got wide and she saw Chief Wiggum's car. Adam saw it, too, and soon saw an unmarked police vehicle in a car dealership, causing him to be confused. However, it gave him an idea. He got out the car, ran to the dealership, and found a salesperson.
"Can I help you?" They asked.
"I need the keys to that unmarked police car!" Adam said.
"Kid," the person said, "you don't seem to know how this works." Adam got frustrated and pulled the salesperson down to his eye level.
"Look," Adam said, "I don't have time to explain anything, but you can search my name in the Law Enforcement Database. My name is Adam Hotchner." The person then grabbed a radio and started talking into it.
"We need a LE search on an Adam Hotchner. He's looking to get the unmarked police vehicle in our lot." The person said. Someone then responded back.
"Get him the keys. It's his. No charge. He's verified and confirmed FLE." Someone said. The person looked at Adam in shock.
"Keys. Now." Adam said. The person then handed the keys of the vehicle over and Adam took them. He let the person go and ran to the vehicle. He got in, turned it on, put it in drive, and turned the ELS system on before punching it out the dealership lot and speeding off to where Lisa lived: 742 Evergreen Terrace. Marge was right behind him, following just as fast. They managed to get there fast enough and Marge ran inside.
"BART! GET OUT OF LISA'S ROOM!" She yelled. Adam ran in behind her and went past her. He saw Bart with something and tackled him down, knocking the item out of Bart's hands.
"D'OHFF!" Bart exclaimed. Lisa picked up the item and gasped before running inside her room.
"Stay down, Bart!" Adam said. Lisa came out and went to Bart before looking at Adam.
"Lift him up." She said. Adam did just that and Bart grinned.
"You're not gonna do any-." Bart spoke. However, he was soon cut off by Lisa DECKING him in in his jaw. Adam held Bart up and kept him facing her.
"How DARE you?! You know better than to go through another person's bags! I can't believe you!" Lisa said.
"I just wanted to see what cool toys he had!" Bart said.
"You grabbed one of his memories of his parents!" Lisa said.
"I didn't know! Why are you freaking out?!" Bart asked.
"Because you invaded his privacy by going through his bag," Lisa said, "and you invaded mine by GOING INTO MY ROOM!" Lisa then punched Bart so hard, he was sent flying out of Adam's hands and onto the floor.
"D'oh." Bart groaned. Lisa then showed Adam what Bart had and he looked livid.
"You better be lucky she already punched you. Because if I had," Adam said, seething with rage, "I'd have sent you into the wall. Invade anyone's privacy again, and you'll wish you were five years old again. Capiche?!"
"Yes, sir." Bart groaned.
"Good. Now go clean yourself up. Wash the filth off you that is your BAD HABITS!" Adam exclaimed. Bart slowly got up and went into the bathroom, closing the door and turning the water on. Adam sighed and Lisa put a hand on him.
"Come on. Let's get you inside my room. You need to make sure Bart didn't take anything else." Lisa said. Adam nodded and Lisa took him into her room. He looked and saw his bag on Lisa's bed.
"You were right, you know." Adam said, starting to check.
"Huh?" Lisa asked.
"What you have in your hands is a memory I have of my parents. Open it." Adam said. Lisa looked and saw a compartment. She opened it and gasped.
"Your parents' rings!" Lisa said. Adam then closed his bag and looked at Lisa.
"I keep them with me because I was there the day they died. In fact," Adam said, getting off her bed, "I watched them die. You probably don't want to hear about it."
"I never said that." Lisa said. She then closed the door to her room and went to Adam.
"Are you sure?" Adam asked.
"Yeah. I'm sure." Lisa said. She then got on her bed and moved Adam's bag down. She patted next to her and Adam got back on her bed. Lisa then held him close and he sighed.
"Well," Adam started, "It happened three years ago. I was coming home from school, and I had walked in the door. When I did, I heard groaning coming from the kitchen. When I looked, I saw my parents on the floor in a pool of their own blood. I called 911 and my parents looked at me. They held out their rings to me and told me to keep them. I said that help was on the way, and to put their rings back on. That they were gonna be okay. That's when they told me."
"Told you what?" Lisa asked.
"They told me they had been shot over 30 times. Said that there was nothing I could do to help them. They held out their rings and put them in my hand. That's when they started praising me," Adam said, "and told me how proud they were. I was holding back tears, but my parents knew the truth. They kept going on about how proud they were. I asked them what I should do with the rings. That's when they said the greatest thing."
"What did they say?" Lisa asked.
"They told me 'Our rings are now yours, Adam. They were made from a special alloy that makes it a perfect fit on anyone who wears it. Have them cleaned, and keep them for your own wedding day. Choose the right girl, and marry her for the right reasons. We'll be watching you. Always and forever.' That was the last thing they had said. I simply sat there and broke down as police was rushing in and clearing the place. I was taken outside and put on the back of an ambulance. They wrapped a shock blanket around me and I just clutched my parents' rings close to my chest. I've kept them ever since in that thing. It's from Japan. My parents gave it to me and told me that I could keep important items inside of it, and no one will ever find it if they don't know where to look. They gave me that the day before they died. My parents meant a lot to me… and I knew the best way to show them how much I cared about them. I had graduated from school at age five, and signed up for the FBI immediately." Adam said. Lisa shed a tear and wiped it away.
"That was so sad," she said, "yet so sweet at the same time."
"That story is rather bittersweet, isn't it?" Adam asked. Lisa chuckled and giggled before Adam joined in. Lisa then smiled and looked at her left finger.
"You know," she said, "even though he said we can keep these as a gift, I think we need to return them to Fat Tony."
"I was going to do that anyways." Adam said.
"I'm gonna miss having a ring on this finger though. Gives me hope that I'll find someone who will be with me long enough for that someday." Lisa said.
"Who did you always picture being with?" Adam asked.
"When I got married?" Lisa asked.
"Married, dating, 'hooking up,' one night stand. You get the picture." Adam said. Lisa giggled and thought about it.
"I sometimes see myself with Nelson Muntz," Lisa said, "a bully who goes to my school and is in Bart's class. Though, for some weird reason, I saw myself with Bart's friend, Milhouse van Houten."
"Ugh. Milhouse? Seriously?!" Adam asked.
"Well… yeah. I don't know the reason. Maybe it's his persistence." Lisa said.
"Whatever you do," Adam said, "stay AWAY from Milhouse. That road will lead you to nothing but to a Penitentiary Visiting Room."
"With him locked in?" Lisa asked.
"No," Adam said, "with you locked in because you wanted to get away from him. That guy is more annoying than North Korea's missile launches."
"Well…. I did think of someone else. Someone who's smart," Lisa said, "courageous, has fidelity and integrity. This person I…. I can see spending the rest of my life with. I can see us having a one night stand, then regular 'hook ups,' then us dating, us getting married, starting a family of our own together. I just don't know if my parents would approve of this person."
"Why?" Adam asked. Lisa blushed and looked to the side before looking at him.
"Because…. I just met this person last night," Lisa said, "and we already did something special." Adam looked shocked before pointing to himself.
"Me?" He asked. Lisa blushed deeper and nodded. Adam soon blushed just as deep.
'This is so embarrassing!' Lisa thought.
'Oh, my God! I think I broke her mind last night without realizing it!' Adam thought.
'He must think of me as a freak!' Lisa thought.
'She must think of me as a freak!' Adam thought.
'Last night was a TERRIBLE idea!' They thought, simultaneously. However, before Lisa could speak to apologize, Adam spoke first.
"You know…. Lisa… there's something about you that I respect." He said.
'Huh?' Lisa thought.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"Well," Adam said, "there's things that others do your age that are disrespectful. Like… burping loud in public and not saying 'excuse me' or 'pardon me' afterwards."
"You mean like Bart?" Lisa asked.
"Yeah," Adam said, "like Bart. However, you on the other hand, have the respect and decency to excuse yourself after doing that. I can respect that, too. Along with your morals. Last night, I'm not gonna lie, that was a first for both of us. Yet…. I…. I had no problem that it was YOU I experienced it with. I guess… maybe…. I… see myself with you. Not just through school, but… through life." Lisa was stunned at that and gasped softly.
'The way he spoke was sincere. Like that of Edgar Allan Poe or Shakespeare! He… really means it!' Lisa thought.
'Why is she just staring at me? Did I fuck it up? Oh, God, I fucked it up!' Adam thought. Lisa then shot forward and kissed Adam sweetly. He was stunned at first, but gave in quick. Lisa pulled Adam on top of her and broke the kiss looking into his eyes.
"I bet we both thought last night was a mistake." Lisa said.
"Probably." Adam said.
"Well…. I say we prove it wasn't one." Lisa said. She then got a look in her eye and she was moving a hand to where Adam's butt was. Adam blushed and looked to the door.
"What if your family hears?" Adam whispered, making sure only Lisa heard. He then heard footsteps moving to the door and Lisa panicked.
"Lay down and pretend we're napping!" Lisa whispered. Adam did just that and Lisa faced away from the door, closing her eyes. Adam closed his as the door opened. Chief Wiggum then walked in and looked at them.
"I don't see anything wrong here." He said.
"I'm telling you Chief," Bart said, "there's something off about him!"
"Just relax, Bart! He's probably just nervous about living in this town on his own!" Chief Wiggum said.
"I felt something in his bag, Chief. It felt like a gun! What kid would bring a gun if he didn't plan on using it?!" Bart asked.
"He probably grabbed the wrong bag at the bus station!" Chief Wiggum said.
"But he-." Bart said.
"I don't have time for this, Bart. I have REAL police duties to take care of. Like processing that purse stealing ring we busted last night." Chief Wiggum said. He then closed the door and walked off, but Bart started to open the door.
"BART!" Marge exclaimed.
"Gwaaaaaah!" Bart exclaimed.
"Haven't I told you not to go in Lisa's room?!" Marge asked.
"Mom," Bart said, "something isn't right about that new kid! He's hiding something!"
"He'll reveal it when he's ready to," Marge said, "and I already have a good idea on what it is. I'm not telling you, though! Now, go to YOUR room, clean it, and do your homework! No phone, no TV, no friends!" Dragging sounds were heard and they went down the hall.
"What?! But… that means!" Bart said.
"Bart Simpson, YOU'RE GROUNDED!" Marge said, throwing Bart in his room and slamming the door. The slam caused Lisa and Adam to jump and open their eyes.
"Sweet Virgin Mary!" Adam said. Marge then opened the door and looked sorrowful.
"I'm sorry. Did I wake you?" She asked.
"Kind of!" Lisa exclaimed.
"That slam was loud enough to raise the dead!" Adam said.
"Oh, man. I'm sorry! I caught Bart trying to get back in here!" Marge said.
"Well," Adam said, "I need to be honest with you about something." He motioned for Marge to come in and got off the bed. Marge walked in and gently closed the door. Adam went to his bag and opened up a different compartment than what Bart opened.
"What is it?" Marge asked. Adam grabbed something from his bag and turned around, holding a wallet.
"Mrs. Simpson," Adam said, "I haven't told you the full truth."
"Your name isn't Adam, is it?" Marge asked.
"That's not it, Mom!" Lisa said.
"I was telling the truth about that." Adam said.
"Then what haven't you told me?" Marge asked.
"My FULL name." Adam said.
"Huh?" Marge asked.
"My name is Adam Gideon Hotchner." Adam said, opening the wallet with both hands.
"That's a nice name." Marge said.
"Mrs. Simpson," Adam said, "there's no easy way to say this, but… my FULL name… including my title… Sighs is Supervisory Special Agent…. Adam Gideon Hotchner." Adam then turned the wallet around and held it in his right hand, revealing his badge and credentials. Marge gasped in shock and Adam looked ashamed.
"You're a Federal Agent!" Marge said.
"I work for the FBI. We got a tip that someone in Springfield was making a bomb," Adam said, "and I was sent to stop them. That's why I'm here."
"Why didn't you say so?" Marge asked.
"Because I didn't want to tip off the suspect." Adam said.
"Then… that whole thing with the spa visit?" Marge asked.
"That actually happened. However," Adam said, "I used it to learn more about the suspect. Fat Tony may be a gangster, but he'd never use a bomb. He cooperated and told me of someone who may have sold the plans for it. Lisa offered to help me with the investigation. That's why I'm telling you all this now."
"Mom," Lisa said, "I have to do this. I knew that something was off the moment he stopped that purse thief. It was too natural for him! He told me everything in Fat Tony's limo. He even told me who they believe the suspect is."
"Who is it?" Marge asked. Lisa looked at Adam for confirmation. Adam shook his head.
"I can't say. He swore me to secrecy." Lisa said.
"Just know that I'm doing everything I can to stop this." Adam said.
"I need to take him with me to the sleepover, Mom. Bart can't be trusted alone in the house with Adam staying here, too." Lisa said.
"I'll tell your friend about this," Marge said, "but I'll leave out the fact that he's with the FBI. I'll just say that he's someone you hired for protection." Lisa smiled and got off the bed, going to Marge and hugging her.
"Thanks, Mom." Lisa said. Adam put his wallet back in the bag and closed the bag up. Marge then smiled and looked at Lisa.
"You should probably pack, Lisa. I'll call your friend's mom and tell her." Marge said. She then left the room and Lisa packed an overnight bag. Adam grabbed his and then Lisa's. Lisa opened the door and they left, heading downstairs. They went into the living room and Adam noticed his car had been moved to the garage area, and it was behind another car that was there.
"Did someone move the car I drove here?" Adam asked.
"Oh," Marge said, "I did. I parked it behind Homer's car because he didn't have to work today."
"With tomorrow being Sunday," Adam said, "everyone is gonna be at the church. I'll probably join you guys for a service, but I don't think I'll stay long."
"We'd love to have you join us for church tomorrow." Marge said.
"Did you make the call yet?" Adam asked.
"Oh," Marge said, "yeah, I did! They said you could stay there, too!"
"Alright. Let's get going." Adam said.
"We don't have to leave right now." Marge said.
"How far of a drive is it?" Adam asked. Marge thought about it before realizing it.
"About four hours away," Marge said, "and that's not including traffic."
"Factor in that they asked I bring something," Lisa said, "and the fact I'm a vegetarian, it'll take us about 30 extra minutes."
"Add in the traffic and it'll take at least five hours for us to get there." Adam said.
"Get in the car." Marge said. Adam walked to Marge's car and put his and Lisa's bags in the back. He then opened the front door for Lisa and she got in. Adam waited for her to get in the seat before closing the door and going to sit behind her. He then looked up and saw Bart on the side of the house.
"MARGE," Adam yelled, "BART'S BREAKING OUT!"
"BARTHOLOMEW J. SIMPSON, GET BACK IN YOUR ROOM RIGHT NOW!" Marge yelled.
"NOT UNTIL I KNOW WHAT THAT KID IS HIDING!" Bart yelled. He then jumped down and landed on the ground before charging Adam. However, before Bart could reach him….
POP
A loud noise was heard and Bart tensed up and fell down, convulsing slightly. Adam looked at where the noise came from and saw someone in a ragged, jean-jacket vest holding a Taser.
"The whole neighborhood heard your mom yell that you were grounded and slam your door, dingus. Plus," the person said, "I have a friend who asked me to make sure Lisa and Adam got to Lisa's sleepover safe. That's EXACTLY what I'm doing."
"Who are you?!" Adam asked.
"The name's Nelson Muntz. You're welcome, by the way." The person said.
"Thanks. Pleasure to meet you. Where'd you get that Taser?" Adam asked.
"You know that friend I was talking about?" Nelson asked.
"Yeah." Adam said.
"They gave it to me." Nelson said.
"Ah." Adam said.
"Also had a message for you. They said 'you need to have a partner with you to investigate, preferably one close with the suspect.' Whatever that means." Nelson said.
"Tell that friend of yours not to worry. I have it covered." Adam said. He then got in the car and Marge started it and backed out. Nelson went to Bart and picked him up before going inside and Marge drove off.
'Looks like the Bureau is reconsidering not giving me a cell phone. I told them that decision would bite them in the ass.' Adam thought.
"Who did Nelson mean when he said a friend?" Marge asked.
"Someone from the Bureau. I was sent before the others." Adam said.
"Did they not give you a cell phone?" Lisa asked.
"They said I would be irresponsible with it." Adam said, rubbing his temples.
"Bet that decision is biting them in their butts now." Marge said.
"You bet it is. I told them it would, too!" Adam said. After a few moments, they arrived at the slumber party. Adam got out first and opened the door for Lisa as her friend's mom came out and greeted them.
"Hello, Lisa! It's great to see you again!" She said. Lisa stepped out and waved. Adam then got their bags and stood next to her.
"Where should I set her bag?" Adam asked.
"In Janey's room. You must be Adam, the bodyguard she hired." The woman said.
"Yes, ma'am. I'll do my best to make sure all the guests stay safe as well." Adam said. He then walked past her and went inside. He heard voices and giggling coming from behind a door.
"I wonder what Lisa's bodyguard looks like." Someone said. Adam then knocked on the door four times.
"Male entering the room!" Adam said. There were two gasps heard then.
"Just one moment!" Someone said. Footsteps were then heard and then the sound of a closet opening and closing was heard.
'Were two girls completely naked in there?' Adam thought. He soon shook the image from his mind and waited patiently.
"All clear!" Someone said. Adam then opened the door and walked in.
"I'm just setting Lisa's bag in here." Adam said.
"You can set it down over there with the others." A girl said, motioning to where the other bags were. Adam then sat Lisa's bag down with the others and turned to leave, only to be stopped by someone.
"Aren't you going to set yours down, too?" The person asked.
"It would be disrespectful of me. I'm only here to make sure everyone is safe," Adam said, "and has a fun slumber party. I won't be OFFICIALLY participating in it. If you'll kindly excuse me, I need to go set my bag in a safe location and get the rest of the items that Lisa brought for the party." Adam then left and Lisa passed him.
"Janey's mom got everything else. Just set your bag down and see if she needs help." Lisa said.
"Understood." Adam said. He then set his bag in a safe place and joined Janey's mom.
"Everything okay, Adam?" She asked.
"Lisa asked me to see if you needed help with anything." Adam said.
"Oh," Janey's mom said, "well, not at the moment. Not unless you can get the sink unclogged so I can start dinner." Adam then saw some plumbing tools and took his jacket off before rolling up his sleeves. He then took a bucket and put it under the sink where the pipe was, grabbing the pipe wrench.
"Is the water turned off?" Adam asked.
"I don't know. Let me check." Janey's mom said. She then left the kitchen and Adam disconnected the pipe from the sink. He then set the pipe wrench down and got the pipe snake out, inserting it down the open pipe before pulling it out slowly. When he did so, a huge clump of hair came out, along with some sludge and a dead rat. He kept the process going for a good few minutes before the pipe was completely cleared out. He then reconnected the pipe to the sink and took the bucket out from under. He then got up, grabbing the bucket, and walked to the back door. There, he saw Nelson with his arms crossed.
"What are you doing?" Nelson asked.
"I just unclogged the kitchen sink." Adam said, showing what was in the bucket.
"Whoa! That's a LOOOOOT of sludge!" Nelson said.
"There's also a few dead rats in there with a large clump of hair." Adam said.
"What are you gonna do with it?" Nelson asked.
"I'm gonna dispose of it. I just need to ask Janey's mom where." Adam said.
"Smart. Anyways," Nelson said, "I relayed that message. They said to give you this and to have it on vibrate." Nelson handed Adam a phone and he took it.
"Give them my gratitude." Adam said
"You don't have to worry about Bart," Nelson said, "the whole neighborhood is gonna keep an eye on him the entire time he's grounded."
"Good." Adam said. Nelson walked away and Adam closed the back door before seeing Janey's mom walk back in the kitchen.
"Water's fine." She said.
"Good. Test the sink." Adam said. Janey's mom looked confused but tested the sink and saw the water go down normally.
"It's fixed! What did you do?!" Janey's mom asked.
"I unclogged it." Adam said. He then showed her what was in the bucket and she winced.
"That's gross." She said.
"Yeah. Where should I dump it?" Adam asked.
"I'll dump it. You go check on the girls." Janey's mom said.
"Alright," Adam said, "just don't dump it back down the sink." He then gave the bucket to her and went to Janey's room to check on everyone. He knocked four times on the door and waited a few moments. Lisa then opened the door and she smiled.
"Checking on us?" She asked.
"That I am." Adam said.
"We're fine, Adam. Just relax." Lisa said.
"Alright. I'll be in the kitchen if you need me." Adam said. Lisa closed the door and Adam walked back to the kitchen. He then saw all the items and noticed something was missing. Janey's mom came back in and placed the bucket back under the sink.
"Is everything okay?" She asked.
"What are they gonna eat for dessert?" Adam asked.
"I was just gonna give them some candy." Janey's mom said.
"These are all stuff for the sleepover," Adam said, "and stuff for dinner, but no dessert. What's a slumber party without a dessert to eat after dinner?"
"Well," Janey's mom said, "I was gonna order them a pizza and just have Lisa eat something different."
"Not on my watch." Adam said.
[Several moments later….]
Adam smiled as he carried a tray to Janey's room.
"He must be strong." Someone said. Adam knocked four times and waited for a few seconds.
"Male entering the room!" He said.
"All clear!" Lisa said. Adam then opened the door and walked in with the tray.
"Dinner is served." He said. The girls gasped in shock and awe as Adam walked in with the tray.
"That doesn't look or smell like pizza." One of them said.
"Because it's not. It's Chicken Parmigiana, served on a bed of Spaghetti and with a breadstick. For Lisa," Adam said, "I made Eggplant Parmigiana, served on a bed of Spinach Fettuccine and with a breadstick. Everything made from scratch. Before you ask, there's no pizza. Yes, Janey, I made this myself. Bon appetite. I'll be back with some drinks for you." Adam then left and Lisa was stunned. After Adam closed the door, Janey looked at Lisa in shock.
"He's sweet," Janey said, "kind, a gentleman, knows martial arts, and knows how to cook?! Lisa, get permission from your parents and MARRY that guy!"
"I don't trust it. You said there'd be pizza!" A girl said. One of the girls then grabbed a plate of Chicken Parm and tried it. Her eyes went wide and she swallowed it.
"This is delicious!" The girl said. The others were stunned and grabbed a plate, leaving Lisa to grab the Eggplant Parm. They all tried it and they all had the same reactions, Lisa included from eating hers.
"Amazing!" They all said. The door soon opened and Adam walked in with cups of water and juice for them.
"Here we are. I'll be back in a bit to collect the plates." Adam said.
"What will you do in the meantime?" Lisa asked.
"Work on dessert. What else?" Adam asked. He then left and closed the door.
"Lisa," a girl said, "if you don't marry him, I will."
"Not if I do first!" Another said.
"Knock it off! I just met the guy!" Lisa said.
After a few moments, Adam came in and took the plates away.
"I'll be right back with dessert." He said. He then left and Janey's mom walked in and smiled.
"How was it?" She asked.
"It was amazing! His cooking is exquisite!" A girl said.
"What did he make for dessert, mom?" Janey asked.
"It's a surprise." Janey's mom said. Adam then came back in with dessert and the girls' jaws dropped, including Lisa's.
"No way!" One said.
"Impossible!" Two of them said.
"You made Crème Brule?!" Lisa asked.
"That I did. Hope you enjoy!" Adam said. The girls all took some and Adam smiled. They tried it and their eyes widened.
"Delicious!" They said. Adam then left and Lisa smiled.
'I guess I should ask if it would be okay.' Lisa thought.
[A few moments later….]
Adam walked in and collected all the dishes before bringing in the supplies for a slumber party.
"How'd you learn to cook?" Janey asked.
"I had to eat somehow." Adam said.
"What about your parents?" A girl asked, causing Adam to stop.
"Yeah, don't they cook for you?" Another asked. Lisa soon realized it and looked at them.
"Sherri! Terri!" She said.
"No, Lisa. They deserve to know." Adam said.
"Know what?" Another girl asked. Adam looked at all of them with sad eyes.
"My parents are dead. I'm all alone." Adam said. The two that asked gasped and the others were ashamed.
"We're so sorry!" Sherri and Terri exclaimed.
"It's fine. You didn't know." Adam said. Janey got up and started walking to him.
"Did you wan-." She spoke.
"I'll be in the living room if you need me." Adam said. He then walked out and the others were stunned. Janey looked at Lisa and softly smiled.
"Your bodyguard is something special." She said. Lisa looked at the door and gave a soft smile of her own.
"He is, isn't he?" Lisa asked. The other girls nodded and they all started to get ready for bed. Meanwhile, Adam was sitting on a chair and sighing. Janey's mom then held out a glass of juice to him.
"Everything okay?" She asked.
"Yeah," Adam said, "just thinking." Janey's mom knelt down next to him and rubbed his back.
"I made you a glass of juice. If you want," she said, "I can order a pizza and we can split it. It'll be just like a slumber party of our own."
"You just don't want to cook, do you?" Adam asked, bluntly.
"That obvious, huh?" Janey's mom asked. Adam nodded and the door to Janey's room opened. Lisa then walked out and went to Adam.
"Adam," she said, "Janey wanted to know if you'd like to stay with us in her room tonight."
"No thanks. I don't want to intrude." Adam said.
"He hasn't eaten anything yet himself." Janey's mom said.
"We could make him something!" Lisa said.
"No, Lisa. You girls are here to have fun. Go enjoy the slumber party. I'll be fine." Adam said.
"Are you sure?" Lisa asked.
"I'll probably order myself a pizza. You girls have fun." Adam said. Lisa gave a nod and went back in Janey's room and closed the door. Adam got off the chair and went into the kitchen. He then saw a menu for a pizza parlor and Janey's mom called them.
"What do you want on the pizza?" She asked.
"Ham and pineapple." Adam said. Janey's mom nodded and left the kitchen. As she did, Adam looked at the mess and started to clean it. After he finished, Janey's mom walked in and smiled.
"Pizza's on its way." She said.
"Too bad he won't be able to eat it." A voice said. Adam recognized it and went on alert before looking at Janey's mom.
"Call Marge!" He ordered. He soon dodged something and looked around. He then saw Bart in front of the fridge and saw he had a baton.
"You can't keep me away. Tell me what you're hiding!" Bart said. Adam reached back on his belt and pulled out an expandable baton, opening it and standing ready to fight.
"You first." Adam said. Bart then charged and Adam dodged his attack before knocking the baton out of his hand. Bart went for a punch, but Adam struck him with his baton on the head and chest before punching him in the stomach. Bart was sent into a counter and fell down, unconscious. Adam closed his expandable baton and put it away as Marge and Janey's mom walked in.
"Oh. Not again." Marge said.
"Put him on a leash." Adam said. He then walked out of the kitchen and went to his bag, grabbing another set of clothes. Lisa walked out and saw Marge with Bart.
"Not again." She said.
"Yup." Adam said. Janey and the others then saw Adam closing his bag and pick up a set of clothes.
"What are you doing?" Sherri asked.
"I'm about to get a shower. I'm sweating like crazy." Adam said. He then walked past them and went to the bathroom, closing the door and locking it. Bart then groaned and came to.
"What happened?" He asked.
"You got your but kicked by Adam because you tried attacking him." Lisa said.
"I'm telling you! He's hiding something!" Bart said.
"Coming from the one who tried to harm him!" Janey said.
"I'm taking Bart home. Try and have fun for the rest of the sleepover." Marge said.
"We'll try, mom. I do have one request, though." Lisa said.
"What would that be?" Marge asked.
"LOCK BART UP IN THE BASEMENT!" Lisa yelled.
"I planned on it." Marge said. She then left the house with Bart and Janey's mom closed the door, locking it.
"Guess Adam won't be sleeping tonight." Terri said.
"Guess not." Janey said. Lisa wasn't having that.
"Not if I have anything to say about it." Lisa said.
[Meanwhile….]
Adam was standing in the shower, trying to wash the sweat off his body.
'Why the Hell is Bart being paranoid? Why is he fixated on me?! I need to find proof of his involvement with that bomb,' he thought, 'and I need to find it fast! First thing tomorrow, I need to visit Sideshow Bob and find out where he got the blueprints for that bomb. I will solve this even if it kills me!' There were four knocks on the door.
"Adam? It's Lisa. I'm coming in!" Lisa said.
"Still in the shower! Come in!" Adam said. Lisa walked in and stood near the sink.
"Sorry about Bart." Lisa said.
"He's just fixated on me because he's hiding something. I plan on talking to Sideshow Bob tomorrow, see what he knows." Adam said.
"Want me to be there with you?" Lisa asked.
"Yeah," Adam said, "I'll need you there. I need someone to keep me in check."
"Keep you in check?" Lisa asked. Adam then turned off the water and grabbed a towel.
"So I don't beat the crap out of him if he doesn't fess up." Adam said. Lisa got up and turned away as Adam opened the shower curtains and stepped out.
"What if he gives the wrong information?" Lisa asked.
"I'll know if he does the moment he says it." Adam said. He then dried himself off and put on a clean set of underwear and clothes. Lisa then looked and saw that Adam had new additions to his outfit: a holster and magazine pouches.
"You're gonna have your weapon on you?!" She asked, stunned.
"You'll see why tomorrow." Adam said.
"What about sleep?!" Lisa asked.
"I've went over 144 hours without sleep before," Adam said, "I'll be fine." Adam then put a blazer on and Lisa gave a slight gasp. He looked in the mirror and brushed some lint off his shoulders. Lisa walked behind him and placed her hands around him.
"You look like someone in the Secret Service." Lisa said.
"If I were in the Secret Service," Adam said, turning to look into Lisa's eyes, "I would never have met you." Lisa held Adam close and kissed him sweetly. He returned the kiss and the two stayed like that for a few seconds before Adam broke it. He exited out the bathroom and Lisa held a hand to her heart.
'God, I love him so much.' Lisa thought.
[The next day….]
Adam was at the stove, cooking breakfast, when he felt someone standing behind him. He started to reach for his baton, but stopped as he felt a hand on his back. He looked and saw Lisa, smiling.
"What's for breakfast?" She asked. Adam smiled and continued cooking.
"I'm making omelets. There's gonna be enough for everyone." Adam said.
"What about you?" Lisa asked.
"I'll eat later." Adam said. He then finished the last one and the others came in the kitchen, dressed in their church clothes.
"We don't have time to eat breakfast here." Janey said. Adam grinned and showed them.
"Then eat on the way there." He said. He revealed the omelets were in take-out containers and their jaws dropped.
"What about you?" Sherri asked.
"I'll eat later." Adam said. They all grabbed their omelets and Adam went and grabbed Lisa's bag along with his. He saw Marge pull up with Homer, Maggie, Bart, and Nelson. Nelson had a Taser trained on Bart, making sure he didn't try anything. Adam then helped Lisa into the car before going into the back with the bags. He quietly took his wallet out of his bag, along with the badge he normally wore, and put them both in his blazer. The entire ride to the church was silent, and uneventful. When they got to the church, Adam got out first and opened the door for Lisa. He then helped Lisa out of the car before leaning to her.
"Stay out here in case Bart tries to go near the car." Lisa whispered. Adam nodded and Lisa walked off. Nelson walked with Bart, keeping the Taser on him, and gave a subtle nod, covering it with a sneeze.
"Bless you." Adam said, nodding in return. After everyone went in the church, Adam made sure the coast was clear and went to his bag. He then opened the second compartment and pulled out his service weapon: a Sig Sauer P229. He put it in the holster, placing the magazines for it in their cases on his belt, and zipped the compartment up. He then saw someone approach and stood near the car. The person stopped and looked around.
"Shouldn't you be inside?" They asked.
"Just because I don't go to church," Adam said, "doesn't mean I don't believe in Christ." The person gave a nod and revealed themselves to be one of Fat Tony's henchmen.
"The boss got you a meet with Sideshow Bob today at 'The Gilded Truffle' at 1:33 PM. Have that girl of yours with you." He said. Adam took the ring off his left ring finger and gave it to the henchman.
"Return this to Fat Tony. Lisa will return hers after the meet." Adam said. The henchman nodded and walked off. Lisa then walked out with Marge and they approached Adam.
"Well?" Marge asked.
"Fat Tony arranged a meet with Sideshow Bob today at 1:33 PM." Adam said.
"Where?" Lisa asked.
"The restaurant we took Fat Tony's limo from." Adam said.
"So 'The Gilded Truffle' is the place." Marge said.
"Yes." Adam said.
"We'd best get going." Lisa said.
"Probably smart." Adam said. Marge nodded and got in the car. Adam opened the door for Lisa and helped her in before getting in himself and closing the door. Marge then cranked the car up and drove out the church parking lot. Lisa started fidgeting with the ring on her finger before looking at Marge.
"Mom," she said, "there's something I need to ask you and dad."
"Wait until after Adam thwarts the attack." Marge said. Within a few moments, Marge pulled into a space at 'The Gilded Truffle' and parked. Adam got out and opened Lisa's door, helping her out. She looked at Marge and gave a nod. The two then walked in and Adam looked around and saw two men in suits standing near a booth.
"There's our guy." Adam said. Lisa grabbed Adam's hand and gulped. Adam gave a calming look and the two walked towards the booth. When they got there, they saw the one man they needed answers from.
"Hello, Lisa." The man said. Lisa tensed up as she saw the grin on his face.
"AAAAAAAH! SIDESHOW BOB!" She yelled. Adam quickly held Lisa close and rubbed her back.
"It's okay. It's okay. He won't hurt you. He knows what will happen if he tries." Adam said. Begrudgingly, Sideshow Bob motioned to one of the men in suits and revealed that a Taser was trained on him.
"I have no idea who you are," Sideshow Bob said, "but you seem to have captured young Lisa's heart. Might I inquire as to what your name is?" Adam pulled out his wallet and showed his badge and ID.
"Supervisory Special Agent Adam Gideon Hotchner," Adam said, "Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation."
"Judging by the way you're acting," Sideshow Bob said, "and how you're comforting Lisa, you're from the Quantico Field Office. I'd venture a guess and say you're a profiler in the Behavioral Analysis Unit."
"Wrong. You're thinking of Criminal Minds." Adam said.
"Ah," Sideshow Bob said, "but I was CORRECT when I said you were from Quantico. Why would they send someone Lisa's age and not an adult?"
"Because we got a tip that someone plans on building and detonating a bomb here in Springfield." Adam said. Sideshow Bob tensed up and Lisa gasped slightly.
'A reaction. He knows something!' She thought. Adam and Lisa sat in the booth across from Sideshow Bob, causing him to get nervous.
"Why come to me?" Sideshow Bob asked.
"Because a source said you gave the plans for the bomb to our primary suspect." Adam said. Sideshow Bob tensed further and Adam gave a single look.
"I…. I don't know what you're talking about! I never gave any bomb plans to anyone! Especially not Bart!" Sideshow Bob said. Adam gave a grin and looked at Lisa, placing a calming hand on hers.
"That's funny." Adam said.
"What is?" Sideshow Bob asked. Adam got serious and looked dead into Bob's eyes.
"I never said who the suspect was." He said.
"HUUUUUUUH!" Sideshow Bob gasped.
"Tell me," Adam said, "how did you know Bart Simpson was the primary suspect if you never gave the plans to him?" Lisa was completely stunned.
'He just told everything without realizing it. That means he DID give Bart the plans!' Lisa thought. Sideshow Bob was sweating profusely and his eyes were shifting, trying to find an escape.
"Well?" Adam asked. After a few seconds, Sideshow Bob sighed and put his head down.
"I confess." He said.
"What to?" Adam asked. Sideshow Bob looked up and had regret in his eyes.
"I sold bomb plans to Bart Simpson," Sideshow Bob said, "and told him where to get the materials for it. However, the plans I sold him were for a stink bomb he wanted to use for a prank."
"Do you have a copy of it?" Adam asked.
"Yes," Sideshow Bob said, "and I have it with me." Sideshow Bob then pulled out a drawing and showed it to Adam.
"These are the plans you sold him?" Adam asked.
"Yes," Sideshow Bob said, "they are. I call it the 'Stink Blast Mk. I.' Patent pending."
"Don't get your hopes up. What's so special about it?" Adam asked.
"This device can be left on a time delay," Sideshow Bob said, "or it can be activated by a trigger."
"Like what?" Adam asked.
"A phone call," Sideshow Bob said, "an electronic signal, a car engine."
"Wait," Lisa said, "a car engine? Like a car ignition?!"
"Given the proper amount of time and care," Sideshow Bob said, "and the mechanical know-how, it's possible. Yes." That clued Adam in.
"Lisa? Do you have an idea on this?" Adam asked.
"I think I know what Bart's planning to do!" Lisa said.
"How so? I'm still shocked he gave me what he did for the plans." Sideshow Bob said.
"What did he give you?" Adam asked.
"He gave me this." Sideshow Bob said. He then pulled out a card and showed it to Adam. Adam grabbed a napkin and took the card.
"A 'License to Kill'? What does that mean?" Adam asked.
"I assume it means that I'm allowed to kill whoever I see fit." Sideshow Bob said. Adam looked it over and looked at the men in suits.
"Either of you have a UV light?" He asked. One of them handed a UV light over and Adam made a motion to cut the lights off. The lights were then cut off and Adam turned the UV light on. He shined it on the card and Sideshow Bob gasped.
"That's no ordinary license to kill!" Lisa said.
"He tried to frame me for his crime!" Sideshow Bob exclaimed. The card was a folded piece of paper that had been laminated.
"Hold the light, Lisa." Adam said. Lisa held the light on the card and Adam pulled out a pair of latex gloves. He then pulled out a knife and cut the lamination, removing the paper and revealing the full thing.
"To whoever reads this," Adam spoke, "my name is Bart Simpson. By the time you find this letter, I'll have already accomplished what I set out to do. Sideshow Bob was the perfect scapegoat, and he's already been convicted of the crime I committed and either been sentenced to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba as a terrorist, or put to death by the state. I wrote this using materials I bought for a stink bomb, the plans of which I got from Sideshow Bob. I knew they could be used to create invisible ink, thanks to my sister. Because of that, I knew how to hide my tracks. I modified Sideshow Bob's 'Stink Blast Mk. I' into one of the most powerful and destructive car bombs. It's even more powerful than the bombs used on the World Trade Center before the events of 9/11. The reason why I did it is simple: they deserve to pay for what they did. They've targeted me for the last time. They told me I wouldn't amount to anything more than a 'dunce that relies on his sister to help him out of trouble.' I showed them. I showed them ALL! They can choke on their words AND their wangs! Oh, wait, I forgot. There was nothing LEFT of them! My dad had no idea I took some nuclear material from his job! Even if they noticed it, they probably BLAMED my dad! I mixed everything just right, and used the new automotive class in school to put my creation in the vehicle that would become the 'blast point of origin.' The day they left Springfield for that seminar would be the last time they ever saw home. I even managed to convince them to let me tag along! Hell, Homer practically BEGGED for them to take me along! As for how I modified the bomb, I simply put in a mixture of TATP, Napalm, and Nuclear materials instead of the stink bomb items. I had to do it just right thought. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to write this letter. If you think you can charge me, you're too late! I'm either long dead, in hiding, or I've become President of the United States! Either way, I'm untouchable! Eat my shorts, rest in pieces, and rot in Hell, Skinner and Chalmers! Signed, Bartholomew J. Simpson. P.S. If you're related to me in any way, shape, or form… please don't tell my mother."
"Oh, my God! Bart plans on killing Principal Skinner and Superintendent Chalmers using a dirty car bomb!" Lisa exclaimed. Adam took a picture of the letter with his phone and snapped his fingers. The lights came back on and Lisa turned the UV light off, handing it back to the man Adam got it from.
"I don't understand! Why would Bart want to frame ME for something like this?!" Sideshow Bob asked.
"Why did you frame Krusty after robbing the Kwik-E-Mart?" Adam asked. Sideshow Bob started to talk, but stopped and sighed.
"Touché." Sideshow Bob said.
"Regardless," Lisa said, "we have to warn them!"
"You don't know which car they plan on taking!" Sideshow Bob said.
"The letter said that they just added an automotive class, right?" Adam asked.
"Yeah, it did. Why?" Sideshow Bob asked.
"We need to check the Vehicle Maintenance Log for the school and see which cars Bart helped with." Adam said.
"Wait! What about me?!" Sideshow Bob said.
"What about you?" Adam asked.
"I just gave you valuable information," Sideshow Bob said, "and actual EVIDENCE of what Bart's planning! Don't I get something in return?!"
"I'll talk with the DA about it," Adam said, "and MAYBE they can cut you a deal. Your testimony against Bart for amnesty as an accessory. That being said, given your track record."
"I'll do whatever it takes. I'll even write and sign my confession!" Sideshow Bob said. Fat Tony then approached and put a pad of paper down with a pen.
"Get to it then." He said. Sideshow Bob was stunned.
"You told him?" Sideshow Bob asked.
"I knew you were involved somehow," Fat Tony said, "but I never had the proof until now. Those plans you sold Bart were used to kill two members of my family. Your 'Stink Blast Mk. I' caused their deaths, but I know Bart isn't responsible. He sold them to the one who used them PROPERLY, and that one has since been charged with murder."
"Unrelated to my case." Adam said.
"If I do this," Sideshow Bob said, "I want full amnesty on BOTH cases!"
"I'll talk to the DA." Adam said. Sideshow Bob then started writing and detailed everything. Afterwards, he signed it. One of the men in suits took it and nodded.
"We'll make sure the DA gets this." He said.
"Thank you." Adam said. Lisa took her ring off and gave it to Fat Tony.
"It isn't right for me to accept such a gift." She said. Fat Tony smiled and gave a nod.
"You have done me a great service." Fat Tony said. Adam and Lisa got out of the booth and Adam approached Fat Tony.
"As have you to me." Adam said, holding his hand out. Fat Tony took Adam's hand and the two of them shook hands before releasing each other.
"You're pretty smart for a kid. I see why the FBI accepted you. I now know my future as a mob boss is a grim one." Fat Tony said.
"How so?" Adam asked.
"I have too many enemies," Fat Tony said, "and not enough allies. I hope to change that with you."
"You're not gonna get me to take bribes from you." Adam said.
"I wouldn't dream of it! I'll give you the information on some of Springfield's most DANGEROUS organizations. My guys and I are done as mobsters. Too many graves and not enough saved. Consider us your…. 'Intelligence Bureau,' if you will." Fat Tony said. Adam grinned and gave a nod.
"I'll see if I can make that happen." Adam said. Two of Fat Tony's henchmen then walked over and gave two Styrofoam containers to Adam.
"Fresh garlic breadsticks. Courtesy of the kitchen." Fat Tony said.
"Thank you." Lisa said. The two then walked out and Marge pulled up to the entrance.
"Well?" Marge asked.
"Sideshow Bob did sell the plans for the bomb," Adam said, "and he was set up to take the fall for it. We need to go to Springfield Elementary and look at their Vehicle Maintenance Log."
"Your suspect made a car bomb?!" Marge asked.
"His suspect made a DIRTY car bomb!" Lisa exclaimed.
"NYEAAAAH! Get in! Quick!" Marge said. Lisa and Adam both got in and Marge drove to Springfield Elementary. When they got there, Adam saw two men driving off in a car with Bart with them.
"Oh, no! We're too late!" Adam said.
"They have to be going to the 'Nuclear Safety' seminar in Washington, DC!" Lisa said.
"Get us to your house!" Adam said. Marge drove back home and Adam grabbed his bag and put it in the unmarked police car.
"You're going after them?" Marge asked.
"I am." Adam said. Marge then caught on and couldn't believe it.
"Bart's the bomber, isn't he?" She asked. Lisa looked solemn and put her head down.
"We're sorry, mom. I didn't want it to be true," Lisa said, "but I'm afraid it is. Adam was sent here to stop Bart." Adam then pulled out the phone he was given and dialed a number.
"FBI Headquarters. How may I direct your call?" A voice asked.
"This is SSA Adam Hotchner! There's an imminent threat en route to the 'Nuclear Safety' seminar in DC! Issue a full terror alert, and set up checkpoints both entering and exiting DC! There's a dirty car bomb on the move!" Adam said, hanging up. Marge then ran inside and Lisa put her bag in the unmarked police car.
"I'm going with you." She said. Marge then ran out and put two bags in the back of her car and Homer ran out with Maggie in his arms.
"I can't believe Bart would do this!" Homer said.
"We have to stop him!" Marge said.
"Stay right on my bumper!" Adam said. Lisa got in on the passenger side and Adam turned the car on, backing out of the driveway at a fast speed. He then turned the ELS on and drove up a bit to let Marge back out and get behind him. Lisa then grabbed Adam's phone and called Marge from it.
"We're all set! Go!" Marge said.
"Lisa," Adam said, "buckle up and hang on!" Adam then put the pedal to the metal and turned the siren on. Marge followed close behind and they went in the same direction as Skinner and Chalmers.
"I hope we can stop him in time." Lisa said.
"Don't worry. We will." Adam said.
[Meanwhile….]
Bart was relaxing as Skinner and Chalmers were parking at the front of the 'Nuclear Safety' seminar.
"Alright. We'll be in the seminar for about four hours." Skinner said.
"Here's $200. Go see the sights of DC and meet us back here." Chalmers said, giving Bart an envelope.
"Alright. If you say so." Bart said, taking the envelope. He then got out and started to walk off, but stopped as he heard sirens and saw emergency vehicles approach the seminar.
"Is this part of it?" Skinner asked.
'Oh, no! How did they find out?! I have to detonate it now!' Bart thought. He then got to a safe distance and pulled out a phone, starting to dial a number.
"I don't like the looks of this, Skinner. Not one bit." Chalmers said.
"Rot in Hell, bastards." Bart said. Before he had a chance to press "call" on the phone….
"DROP THE PHONE, BART!" A voice yelled. Bart gasped and looked, seeing Adam with a pistol trained at him.
"I knew it! You WERE hiding something!" Bart said.
"So were you, Bart! Drop the phone and put your hands up!" Adam ordered.
"Who do you work for?! The CIA?! Terrorists?!" Bart asked.
"FBI, BART! DROP THE PHONE!" Adam yelled. That rang through Bart's ears and his eyes widened. He turned around and saw DC Metro Police and FBI vehicles surrounding the area.
"What the?!" Skinner asked.
"Come with us! The car's rigged to explode!" An agent said, leading Skinner and Chalmers to safety.
"Hey! No pushing!" Chalmers said. Bart looked at Adam with pure fear.
"You're in the FBI?! You're no older than Lisa is!" Bart said.
"I graduated at age five and immediately joined the FBI after my parents were murdered!" Adam said.
"You don't know anything!" Bart said.
"I know everything, Bart. I know you resent your sister because she's smart," Adam said, "and her smarts are making your life at school difficult. However, just because one person is smarter than you, doesn't mean you get an excuse to blow up your Principal and Superintendent!"
"They mocked me and called me a loser!" Bart said.
"So what?!" Adam said.
"They told me that I'd always have to rely on my sister to get me out if trouble! They keep praising her and they label me an incompetent fool who won't amount to anything!" Bart said. Skinner and Chalmers then realized they forgot their passes.
"We left our passes in the car!" Skinner said.
"We need to grab them!" Chalmers said. Bart looked and saw the two of them run to the car.
"Now they're going to pay." He said. Lisa, Marge, and Homer looked on and gasped.
"Got them!" Skinner said.
"REST IN PIECES, BASTARDS!" Bart yelled.
"BART, NO!" Lisa and Marge yelled. Right as Bart was about to press "call" on the phone….
POP POP
"GWOGH!" Bart exclaimed, falling to the ground. Time seemed to slow down as Bart looked and hit the ground, seeing smoke coming from Adam's pistol. Adam then approached Bart and kicked the phone away from him before turning Bart onto his stomach with a foot. He then holstered his pistol and pulled out a pair of handcuffs. He put Bart's hands behind his back and put the cuffs on him.
"Bartholomew J. Simpson," Adam said, putting his badge on his blazer for it to be in full view, "you're under arrest for the attempted murders of Seymour Skinner and Gary Chalmers, and attempted acts of terror against the United States of America." Adam then grabbed Bart and picked him up.
"YEOWCH! Watch the shoulder!" Bart said.
"Shut up!" Adam said. Two Agents then approached and grabbed Bart.
"We'll take him from here, Hotch." One said. The other then read Bart his rights and Adam sighed. He then turned and looked at Lisa with a solemn and apologetic look. Lisa then ran to Adam and hugged him tight. Adam returned the hug and Lisa sobbed softly.
"I'm sorry, Lisa." Adam said.
"It's not your fault. Sniff Bart did the crime." Lisa said. Marge, Homer, and Maggie then approached and hugged Adam and Lisa both.
[Days later….]
Bart was sitting before a judge, his arm in a sling while wearing a suit. The judge looked at the jury with a serious expression.
"Has the jury reached a verdict?" The judge asked. The jury foreperson stood up and looked at the judge, handing a piece of paper to the bailiff.
"We have, Your Honor." They said. The bailiff then went to the judge and handed the paper to them. The judge looked at the paper and returned it to the bailiff.
"Will the defendant and his council please rise?" The judge asked. Bart then stood up and looked behind him. Sitting there, holding napkins in her hands, was Marge. Next to her was Homer, who held Maggie, and Lisa, who was being comforted by Adam.
"Your Honor," Bart's lawyer spoke, "may I ask that the defendant's family be allowed to stand, too?"
"The people have no objections to this, Your Honor." A Prosecutor said. The judge nodded.
"The defendant's family may rise." They said. Marge and Homer then stood up and Homer held Marge close. Lisa grabbed Adam's hand and started tearing up. Bart looked away from them and faced the judge. The bailiff returned the paper to the jury foreperson, who opened it.
'Guess this is it. Once I get out of this courtroom,' Bart thought, 'I get to go back home and serve community service. Afterwards, I plan on making sure Adam never lays another FINGER on Lisa again.'
"On the two charges of Attempted Murder in the First Degree," the judge said, "how do you find?"
"We find the defendant," the jury foreperson said, "Bartholomew J. Simpson, guilty on both charges." The courtroom was in a hushed state of shock, and Bart was stunned. The judge slammed his gavel three times.
"Order! Order!" The judge said. The courtroom got quiet and Bart stayed serious.
'Okay,' Bart said, 'so I have to serve some time in juvie. No big deal. When I get out, Adam will wish he never set foot in Springfield.'
"On the charge of Domesticated Terrorism in the First Degree," the judge said, "how do you find?"
'They have nothing on me. All they can prove is I tried to kill two people with a bomb. That only means attempted murder.' Bart thought.
"On the charge of Domesticated Terrorism in the First Degree," the jury foreperson said, "we, the jury, find the defendant, Bartholomew J. Simpson,…."
'Here it comes. Give me that sweet, sweet victory!' Bart thought. The jury foreperson looked directly at the judge and gave a sigh.
"We find the defendant… guilty." They said. Bart's heart sank and his eyes widened. His jaw dropped and he couldn't move.
'W-what?' Bart asked. The judge nodded.
"Thank you, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, you may step down." The judge said. The jury then left and a Prosecutor stood up.
"Your Honor," they said, "in light of the current situation, the people move for immediate sentencing."
"Objection, Your Honor! The people have no probable cause!" Bart's lawyer said.
"We have a letter the defendant sent to a friend of his back in Springfield. It detailed a plan to get revenge on the one responsible for capturing the defendant, FBI Supervisory Special Agent Adam Hotchner, and making him suffer. This letter was brought to our attention by an anonymous source. I have the letter in question here." The Prosecutor said, showing a letter. The bailiff then took the letter and brought it to the judge. The judge looked it over and gave the letter back to the bailiff, nodding.
"I must agree with the people with this. Objection overruled!" The judge said.
"What?!" Bart asked.
"Bartholomew J. Simpson," the judge said, "you have been found guilty of the crimes of Attempted Murder in the First Degree and Domesticated Terrorism in the First Degree. I'm afraid I have no other choice but to have you sentenced as an adult. You are hereby sentenced to three life terms with no chance of parole, which will be served in maximum security at Camp David in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba! This court is adjourned!" The judge then slammed the gavel down and Bart ran at the judge, being stopped by court bailiffs.
"You can't do this! I'm just a kid!" Bart said.
"The law is absolute, Mr. Simpson. Even a child is not exempt from it." The judge said. Bart looked at Marge with fear and sadness in his eyes.
"Mom, please! Don't let them do this!" Bart pleaded. Marge shed tears and sniffled.
"I'm sorry, Bart. I can't help you." She said. Marge then cried into Homer's shoulder and Bart looked at him.
"Dad, do something!" Bart said.
"I can't, boy. This is something that even I can't fix." Homer said. Maggie sucked on her pacifier and hugged Homer tightly, shedding a tear. Bart then started to get led away by the court bailiffs, but resisted and looked at Lisa.
"Lisa, come on! You know me! I would NEVER do something like this! SAY SOMETHING!" Bart exclaimed. Lisa started crying and showed the photo of the letter that Bart gave Sideshow Bob. The moment she did that, Bart went pale.
"This is what did you in, Bart. Even the jury could tell you were a terrorist from this. You dug yourself into this," Lisa said, "not me. I thought you knew better than to pull what you did. I guess I was wrong."
"Lisa…." Bart said.
"You got what you deserved, Bart. Have fun in Gitmo." Lisa said.
"How could you say that to your own brother?!" Bart asked, being restrained by the court bailiffs. Lisa tried to dry her tears, but couldn't and just turned around.
"Far as I'm concerned," Lisa said, choking up, "I…. I have no brother." Those four words echoed in Bart's mind and he turned as white as a ghost.
"No… NOOOO!" Bart yelled.
"Goodbye, Bart." Lisa said. The court bailiffs then took Bart away, keeping a hold on him.
"NO! YOU CAN'T DO THIS! I'M JUST A KID! I'M JUST A KIIIIIIIID!" Bart yelled. The door then slammed shut and Lisa collapsed and broke down, crying. Adam knelt down and gently held her. Lisa hugged Adam tight and cried into his shoulder.
"It's okay, Lisa. It's okay. Let it all out." Adam said. Marge looked at Lisa and Adam and knelt down, placing a comforting hand on Lisa's shoulder. Homer knelt down next to Adam and placed a hand on his shoulder. Maggie climbed down Homer and went to Lisa, going into Lisa's lap. Lisa stopped crying for a bit and looked at Maggie.
" Sniff M-Maggie?" Lisa asked. Maggie then gave a soft smile and grabbed Lisa's hand in her left, and Adam's in her right.
"Huh?" Adam asked. Maggie then brought Adam's and Lisa's hands together before reaching in Adam's blazer pocket and pulling out the keepsake from his parents.
"I think Maggie is trying to tell you something." Marge said. Adam then caught on and stood up, looking at Homer and Marge.
"Mr. and Mrs. Simpson," Adam said, "I know this may not be the best of times to say this, but…. I'm in love with Lisa. You're probably thinking that I was just getting close to Lisa so she could help me get to Bart, but that's not the case. She WILLINGLY offered her assistance to me the moment I identified myself as a FBI agent. I know it's only been a few days, but…. I know for a fact that I truly love her. The fact she had me stay near her throughout the entirety of the trial is a testament to the fact that she feels the same way. With your permission, and with your blessing, I'd like to take Lisa as my wife." Lisa gasped and Maggie smiled happily.
'What is he thinking?! They need time to process what just happened!' Lisa thought. Homer got serious and placed both his hands on Adam's shoulders.
"Adam," Homer said, "I want to know the truth. Have you and Lisa ever done something that adults, like Marge and I, do to prove how much you two love each other?" Lisa looked at Adam.
'Ah, crap! Adam, no!' Lisa thought.
"I won't lie to you, Mr. Simpson. There were numerous instances within the same night that Lisa and I proved our love for each other." Adam said. Marge gave a slight gasp.
"The spa trip!" She said.
"She professed her love for me that night in Fat Tony's limo," Adam said, "and he had us be portrayed as a married couple to get us a room." Lisa grabbed Maggie and held her before standing up. Homer gently gripped Adam's shoulders and Adam closed his eyes, bracing for a hit. However, he soon felt something wet fall on his shoe. When he opened his eyes, he saw the one thing that he never would have expected: Homer in tears.
"D-dad?" Lisa asked.
"You really do care about Lisa, don't you?" Homer asked.
"Yes, sir." Adam said. Homer smiled and gave a nod.
"I know you'll take good care of her, Adam." Homer said. Lisa was shocked.
"Does this mean?" She asked. Homer looked at Lisa and nodded.
"I give my blessing and permission." Homer said. Adam looked at Marge, who was still drying her tears.
"If you need some time, Mrs. Simpson, I'll understand." Adam said. Marge shook her head and smiled.
"These are tears of joy!" Marge said.
"Huh?!" Adam and Lisa asked.
"Lisa," Marge said, "I knew that Bart was planning on killing Skinner and Chalmers!"
"What?!" Lisa asked. That's when Adam pieced it together.
"You were the one who tipped off the FBI. You sold out your own son!" Adam said. Marge dried her tears more.
"I couldn't let my precious little boy do something so horrible." Marge said.
"How did you know?!" Lisa asked.
"I overheard him talking to Jimbo and Kearny about it. He didn't know that I knew," Marge said, "so I gave an anonymous tip to the FBI that he planned on making and detonating a bomb. I never thought he would go so far as to steal nuclear materials from where Springfield gets electricity!"
"So the tears when the judge gave his verdict and sentencing?" Adam asked.
"Yes," Marge said, "those were my tears of sadness. I was sad because my precious little boy was taken away from me, but now I'm happy because I don't have to carry the burden of knowing I sold out my son. I'm even happier now that I know Lisa found someone she TRULY cares about because I had!"
"Marge," Homer said, standing up and facing her, "are you saying what I think you're saying? Are you actually AGREEING with me on this?!" Marge dried the last of her tears and nodded.
"I am. I give my blessing and permission!" Marge said. Maggie clapped happily and laughed. Homer then took Maggie from Lisa and Adam took the keepsake of his parents back from Maggie. He put it back in his blazer pocket, and looked at Lisa.
"I guess we should head home." Lisa said. Adam gave a smile and shook his head.
"Not yet." Adam said.
"Huh?" Lisa asked.
"Why not?" Homer asked.
"Because I have one more thing to do before we leave." Adam said, reaching into one of his blazer's lower pockets.
"What do you mean?" Marge asked. Adam took Lisa's left hand and held it.
"Lisa," Adam said, "you really do mean everything to me. I'm sure I already know your answer, but…. I want to be sure of it." Adam then let Lisa's hand go and got down on one knee, pulling out a solid gold, 24k diamond ring that was in a box from Kay Jewelers. Lisa gasped and teared up again, putting a hand over her mouth. Homer smiled and held Marge close, causing her to put her head on his shoulder.
'He actually means it! He…. He….' Lisa thought.
"Lisa Marie Simpson," Adam said, "would you do me the honor of making me one of the happiest people in the world, and be by my side for the rest of our lives together? Lisa, will you marry me?" Lisa dried her tears and blew her nose before nodding.
"Yes! Yes, of course, I'll marry you!" Lisa said. Adam took the ring out of the box and placed it on Lisa's left ring finger. He then stood up and the two shared a kiss. Adam then smiled and held Lisa close.
"Let's celebrate!" Marge said.
"The celebration can wait. Lisa has school tomorrow," Adam said, "Homer has to work, and I have to set up a field office in Springfield. We can celebrate tomorrow night."
"Adam's right, mom." Lisa said.
"Oops," Marge said, blushing out of embarrassment, "I forgot." Maggie giggled and the four of them joined in. They all then walked out the courtroom and exited the courthouse.
"Let's go home." Adam said.
[The next day….]
Adam walked into the Springfield Elementary School gym and stood at the podium that had been set up. Everyone was talking amongst themselves, but got quiet the moment they saw Adam.
"Good morning, everyone. My name is Adam Hotchner," Adam said, "and I'm a Supervisory Special Agent with the FBI. I'm sure most of you are wondering why I'm here, and more of you are wondering what happened to Bart Simpson. I will explain both those things. I was originally sent to Springfield to investigate a tip the FBI received concerning a bomb. My investigation revealed that Bart Simpson had planned to blow up your Principal and Superintendent using a dirty car bomb. Furthermore, he set to pin the blame on Sideshow Bob, who has a vendetta against Bart. As a result, Bart Simpson was charged, tried, and convicted on two counts of Attempted Murder in the First Degree and one count Domesticated Terrorism in the First Degree. He was sentenced as an adult, and will be serving three life terms with no parole while in maximum security at Camp David in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. He will no longer be a part of your school system, nor will he be a part of your community. As for why I'm currently here, I'm starting an after school program. Many of you think being in the FBI is a cakewalk. Well, if you think it's such a cakewalk, why not sign up for the FBI Junior Agent Program? The sign-up sheet will be in Principal Skinner's office. Any questions?" A student raised their hand and Adam nodded.
"How are you in the FBI if you're just a kid like us?" They asked.
"Because I'm what you would call an 'advanced placement' student. I had graduated from the school system at the age of five. I was apparently so smart that the FBI accepted my application immediately and I became the youngest agent in the FBI. I even hold the world record for it." Adam said. This got the gym chattering and another student raised their hand.
"Will Bart be allowed to send or receive letters and packages?" They asked.
"No. He will have no contact with the outside world." Adam said. Another student raised their hand.
"Martin Prince," they said, "editor of the Daily Fourth Gradian. Can you confirm any rumors that you and Bart's sister, Lisa, are engaged and planning a wedding?"
"I can neither confirm nor deny that information." Adam said.
"Follow-up question," Martin said, "not related to the previous one. This Junior Agent Program you're introducing sounds interesting. Is there a certain criteria that needs to be met to sign up?"
"No," Adam said, "there's no criteria that needs to be met to sign up. If you're interested in seeing what the FBI can offer you, please feel free to sign up at any time. Also, it not only qualifies as an extracurricular activity, but it can double as a form of community service. I'm looking at you Jimbo and Kearny."
"Aw, man!" Jimbo said.
"Come on!" Kearny said. Lisa then raised her hand and Adam nodded.
"What if you're already in an extracurricular activity? Can you still sign up?" She asked.
"Of course! The Junior Agent Program is extremely flexible. There's no cut-off date for sign-ups. Pamphlets with further information will be in Principal Skinner's office and the Counselor's Office." Adam said.
"One last question," Martin said, "and I'll let you leave. Will we be seeing you around the school often, considering you're gathering all of Bart's belongings and records from the school?"
"That's HIGHLY unlikely. I'll drop by from time to time," Adam said, "but I won't make it a habit. This assembly is hereby adjourned. Everyone except Lisa Simpson can go to your next classes. Lisa, I need to see you in Principal Skinner's office."
"Ooh~, Lisa's in trouble~!" A student said. Adam then left and went to Principal Skinner's office. After a few moments, Lisa walked in and Principal Skinner was with her.
"What's this all about?" Lisa asked.
"Principal Skinner," Adam said, "I want your word that whatever is said in this room DOES NOT get leaked to the Daily Fourth Gradian."
"Don't worry," Skinner said, "I already know. Marge explained it to me."
"Good. Call Martin in here." Adam said.
"Wait," Lisa said, "you're going to tell him?!"
"He's gonna find out. I don't want to be hiding it." Adam said.
"He just doesn't want the whole school knowing." Skinner said.
"Why?" Lisa asked.
"Take a guess." Adam and Skinner said. Lisa then put two-and-two together and sighed.
"Milhouse." Lisa said.
"Yup." Adam said. After a few moments, Martin walked through and saw the ring on Lisa's finger.
"I knew it! Congratulations, Lisa!" Martin said.
"Now you know the truth," Skinner said, "as do I. However, we can't tell ANYONE about this. It can't even be in the Daily Fourth Gradian as a gossip column."
"Why not?" Martin asked.
"Milhouse." Adam said. Martin caught on and nodded.
"I get the picture now. You want him to learn on his own about it." Martin said.
"Exactly. The moment Milhouse realizes that he doesn't have a chance with me," Lisa said, "is when you can publish the story of my engagement. Just publish the stuff about the new program for now." That's when Martin got an idea.
"If I may make a suggestion," he said, "why not have Lisa be the School Press Liaison for the FBI? That way, the students can stay informed on what happens in Springfield!" Adam grinned and gave a nod.
"I figured I would like you for a reason." Adam said, pointing at Martin.
"Run it through your superiors at the Bureau." Skinner said.
"I will." Adam said.
"I'll keep a lid on Lisa's engagement for now," Martin said, "and run the new program through the next paper."
"Get to it." Adam said. Lisa then hugged Adam and kissed his cheek.
"Be careful out there." She said.
"Always." Adam said.
[A few hours later….]
Fat Tony had finished dragging in the last of Bart's school records and was stretching. Adam took note of everything and looked at Fat Tony.
"All this is Bart's?" He asked.
"Every last one." Fat Tony said.
"I see why he was given so much time to progress. It stops here and now." Adam said.
"What do you mean by that?" One of Fat Tony's guys asked.
"The Springfield PD needs a SERIOUS overhaul." Adam said.
"I agree. Clancy is too incompetent." Fat Tony said.
"Before I forget," Adam said, "I talked to some buddies of mine in Organized Crime. Told them you were planning to make a career change. They said it'll take an act of God for them to believe it."
"Skeptics. Always asking for proof." Fat Tony said.
"I told them how you helped me get Bart," Adam said, "and how you helped me keep the case out of the press. They were stunned and gave you a task."
"What would that be?" Fat Tony asked.
"Get your health checked." Adam said.
"All my guys are. The results will be in soon." Fat Tony said.
"You anticipated this, didn't you?" Adam asked.
"I always do." Fat Tony said. One of his guys then pulled something out of a box.
"Hey, boss! Take a look at this!" They said. Fat Tony then grabbed a file and showed it to Adam.
"This sure is interesting." He said. Adam took the file and looked through it before nodding.
"Yeah," Adam said, "it is."
"What do you make of it, Agent?" Fat Tony's guy asked.
"His behavior could have been prevented if he only had attention given to him." Adam said.
"Attention by who? His mama?" Fat Tony asked.
"No," Adam said, closing the file, "his father." Fat Tony sighed and held his head.
"Homer is constantly too drunk to pay any attention to his kids." Fat Tony said.
"That's gonna change, too." Adam said.
"How?" Fat Tony asked. Adam looked at Fat Tony and his guys in complete seriousness.
"We're gonna give him a reality check." Adam said.
[Moments later….]
Homer was asleep at his station when the door slammed open and he jerked awake.
"Simpson!" A voice said. Homer looked and saw Mr. Burns' assistant, Mr. Smithers.
"Yes, Mr. Smithers?" Homer asked.
"Mr. Burns would like to see you in his office." Smithers said.
'Uh-oh.' Homer thought. He then left his station and went to Mr. Burns' office. He knocked on the door and waited for a response.
"Enter!" A voice said. Homer walked in and stood in front of Mr. Burns.
"You wanted to see me, Mr. Burns?" Homer asked, gulping.
"Yes," Mr. Burns said, "I did. I understand your son was convicted on a Domesticated Terrorism charge."
"Yes, sir. If you have to fire me because of it," Homer said, "I understand. He did steal materials from the nuclear plant, after all."
"Nonsense! He did all of that without you knowing!" Mr. Burns said.
"I was too dense to notice it, sir." Homer said.
"Well," Mr. Burns said, "I'm grateful you admitted your faults. Tell me, Simpson, and be honest. Why did you neglect your children for all these years?"
"I have no excuse. Bart became the way he did because I never paid enough attention to him. I'm a failure as a father." Homer said.
"That's a lie and you know it! I've seen how you are with your daughters! You're doing a fine job of raising them. Your son was the problem child." Mr. Burns said.
"Nothing I say or do means a thing to him. He doesn't appreciate everything I do." Homer said.
"You tried to bond with him," Mr. Burns said, "but he refused to TRULY accept it. He doomed himself from the start. I know how much stress you've been under as of late. Therefore, I want to do something for you and your family." Homer sighed and pulled out his checkbook.
"How much do I owe you?" He asked. Mr. Burns looked at him in shock and shook his hands and head.
"No, no, no! Put that away!" Mr. Burns exclaimed.
"Every time you say you want to do something for me and my family," Homer said, "I end up having to pay you before you can do anything."
"Not this time, Simpson. I want you to take your family on a vacation somewhere. I'll pay for everything. You need some time to relax and rewind. Bond more with your daughters, pleasure your wife, and spend some time with your family! Just name the place and I'll pay for everything. I'll even give you some spending money! All I ask in return is one thing." Mr. Burns said.
"How much?" Homer asked, ready to write a check out.
"No price," Mr. Burns said, "I only ask that you improve on your health. I hear your daughter, Lisa, is engaged to the one who arrested Bart. You need to be in good shape for her wedding." Homer was shocked, but nodded.
"I…. I'll certainly try to, Mr. Burns." Homer said. Mr. Burns then stood up and approached Homer.
"Simpson," he said, placing a hand on Homer's shoulder, "I have faith in you. You can do this. Take the rest of the day off and spend it with your family. They need you more than we do right now. Talk the vacation over with your family and decide where you want to go. I'll expect your decision by the time you get off tomorrow." Homer gave a nod and left Mr. Burns' office, returning to his station and getting his lunch.
"Going somewhere, Simpson?" Smithers asked, grinning.
"Mr. Burns gave me the rest of the day off and told me to spend time with my family." Homer said.
"Aren't you forgetting to return something?" Smithers asked, motioning to Homer's ID.
"He never said anything about returning my ID to the nuclear plant." Homer said. Smithers groaned and took Homer's ID from him.
"Get out, Simpson! You're fired!" Smithers said. Homer then went dejected and sulked out. Smithers then burned Homer's ID and showed someone else to the station. Homer got in his car and drove off. When he got home, he walked in the door and set his lunch on the counter. Marge looked at him in shock.
"You're home early." She said.
"I got fired." Homer said, dejected.
"You WHAT?!" Marge asked.
"I'll look for another job tomorrow," Homer said, "but I don't think anyone is going to hire me."
"Can't we talk to Mr. Burns about this?!" Marge asked.
"Why should he care to listen? I'm the father of a domestic terrorist." Homer said. Marge went to say something, but Homer walked away slowly.
"Where are you going?!" Marge asked.
"To bed." Homer said. He walked up the stairs and Marge grabbed the phone. She then dialed the number to Mr. Burns' office.
"Springfield Nuclear Power," someone said, "how may I direct your call?"
"Put me on the phone with Mr. Burns." Marge said, livid.
"One moment please." The person said. Marge then waited patiently and tapped her foot.
"Hello," a voice said, "this is Mr. Burns."
"How dare you?!" Marge asked.
"I'm sorry. Who is calling?" Mr. Burns asked.
"Marge Simpson, that's who! How dare you fire Homer after he gets back from watching his son get convicted!" Marge said.
"What? I merely sent him home for the day! Why on Earth did he tell you he was fired?!" Mr. Burns asked.
"Wait," Marge said, "you DIDN'T fire him?!"
"Heavens no! I may be cruel," Mr. Burns said, "but not so cruel as to fire someone after their son is imprisoned for Domesticated Terrorism! Who was it that told you he was fired?!"
"He did! He wasn't wearing his ID when he came home!" Marge said.
"What? I never confiscated his ID! I sent him home WITH it!" Mr. Burns said.
"Then apparently you need to have a talk with your staff because SOMEONE was under the impression you had fired Homer!" Marge said, hanging up.
[Back at the Nuclear Plant….]
Smithers walked into Mr. Burns office with a stack of files as Mr. Burns hung up his phone.
"Smithers," Mr. Burns said, "did you confiscate Homer Simpson's ID before he left?"
"Yes, sir, I did. His replacement has already taken over," Smithers said, smiling, "and Sector 7G is running normally. Was that his wife asking for his job back?" Mr. Burns gave a look of pure rage.
"You FOOL!" Mr. Burns said.
"Sir?" Smithers asked, confused.
"I only sent Simpson home for the day so he can spend time with his family! I never fired him!" Mr. Burns said.
"Earlier you said that you had found his replacement!" Smithers said.
"Yes," Mr. Burns said, "because I was going to send Simpson and his family on a vacation! His daughter is getting MARRIED, for Pete's sake, Smithers, and he just got back from watching his only son get imprisoned for Domesticated Terrorism! Go give Simpson back his ID and clear this up with his wife!"
"I can't, sir. You told me to burn any IDs I confiscate and blacklist them from employment back into the nuclear plant." Smithers said. Mr. Burns shot up from his chair.
"You IDIOT! Now I have to give someone else the vacation I was going to give to Simpson!" Mr. Burns said.
"I brought the files you had asked for." Smithers said.
"I was going to have Simpson look through those tomorrow," Mr. Burns said, "but now he no longer WORKS here! Go put those files back!" Smithers left Mr. Burns' office and returned the files.
[Moments later….]
Marge was setting the table, furious. Lisa was doing homework in the living room when there was a knock at the door.
"I'll get it!" Adam said. He then walked to the door and opened it, seeing Mr. Burns in the doorway.
"I need to speak with Homer Simpson." Mr. Burns said.
"Good luck. He's so depressed he hasn't left his and Marge's room since he got home." Adam said.
"Who's at the door?!" Marge asked.
"It's Mr. Burns!" Adam said. Marge then went to the door and Mr. Burns rose his hands.
"I'm here to clear everything up." Mr. Burns said.
"Tell that to Homer!" Marge said.
"How could you fire him the day he gets back from watching his only son being imprisoned?!" Adam asked.
"I'm not the one who fired him! It was Smithers!" Mr. Burns said. Marge gasped and Adam looked stunned.
"You never authorized it?" Adam asked.
"No!" Mr. Burns said.
"Then you can reverse his mistake." Adam said.
"I would," Mr. Burns said, "but Smithers was under the impression I had FIRED Homer Simpson! He had him blacklisted!"
"Blacklisted?!" Marge asked.
"You run the nuclear plant," Adam said, "and you control the employees. You have the authority to reverse Smithers' actions. You still have Mr. Simpson's photo on file, right?"
"I do." Mr. Burns said.
"Then you can make him a new ID," Adam said, "and give him his old job back. Since you're the boss, Smithers will have no choice but to ACCEPT your decision." Mr. Burns' eyes widened in realization.
"You're absolutely right!" He said.
"Also," Adam said, holding out a file, "you may want to update the nuclear plant's security protocols and get the place up to Nuclear Safety Code. These are all the things that nuclear plants need to have. Keep in mind that one wrong move can set off a chain reaction." Mr. Burns took the file and nodded.
"I'll get started on it right now." Mr. Burns said.
"The Nuclear Safety Board will be conducting an inspection in three weeks. Find any problems and fix them before then. This town has enough problems as it is. I don't think I need to mention how important it is that Springfield has it's own, localized power source. Imagine if we had to get power from Shelbyville." Adam said. Mr. Burns shuddered at the thought.
"I'll get the nuclear plant up to code immediately! Tell Homer Simpson he can expect his new ID within the next few hours." Mr. Burns said. He then left with the file and Adam closed the door.
[The next day….]
Adam was sitting in front of the TV, watching a show, when the news came on.
"We interrupt this program with a breaking news bulletin!" A voice said.
"Good morning," the news anchor said, "I'm Kent Brockman. Local multibillionaire, C. Montgomery Burns, has just done the first thing he swore he'd never do: fix the problems at the Springfield Nuclear Plant. Just last night, he COMPLETELY overhauled the old equipment and had state-of-the-art measures installed. He also updated the security protocols and introduced a new employee benefits plan that covers vision, dental, and prescription drug costs, as well as other medical benefits. We asked him why he changed his ways and started fixing the problems that HE never took responsibility for. This was his response."
"I did it for the sake of the town. Springfield is a wonderful place," Mr. Burns said, "and I'd hate to see such a city be forced to rely on Shelbyville for it's power supply. Shudders Such a notion sickens me."
"The Springfield Nuclear Plant now has enough safety features to bring it up to Nuclear Safety standards," Kent said, "as well as OSHA and EPA guidelines. This is Kent Brockman, signing off. We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming." Adam turned the TV off and smiled.
'He actually did it.' Adam thought. Homer then walked downstairs and started to go to the kitchen. Before he reached it, there was a knock at the door.
"I'll get it." Homer said, dejected. He went to the door and opened it, seeing Mr. Burns.
"Simpson," he said, "there's been a miscommunication."
"Why are you here, Mr. Burns? I was fired." Homer said.
"You were fired by Smithers," Mr. Burns said, "and ONLY Smithers. I never fired you. I came here to tell you that you have your old job back. I've adjusted your hours to where you can spend time with your family on your lunch. Here's your new ID card. It doubles as your access card. I want you to talk to your family about that vacation, and I'll be expecting your answer at the end of the week. You have today off. I expect to see you at your station tomorrow, Simpson." Homer's eyes lit up and he accepted the card.
"Thank you, Mr. Burns!" Homer said.
"Remember," Mr. Burns said, "you need to get in shape for your daughter's special day."
"I will, Mr. Burns. Thank you!" Homer said. Mr. Burns then turned and left as Homer closed the door. Marge came downstairs with Maggie.
"Who was that?" She asked. Homer then showed Marge his ID/Access Card.
"Mr. Burns just gave me my old job back!" Homer said. Marge gasped.
"That's great!" Marge said.
"He also said he was going to send us on a vacation," Homer said, "and we get to choose where!" Marge immediately got worried.
"How much did THAT cost you?" She asked.
"All he said was for me to get in shape for Lisa's wedding! I didn't have to pay a dime!" Homer said. Marge gasped in shock and happiness and Maggie's jaw dropped, causing her pacifier to fall out of her mouth.
"Is it THAT shocking?" Adam asked.
"Mr. Burns is NOTORIOUS for having his employees pay before doing something for them. The fact he told Homer to get in shape for Lisa's wedding instead of having him write a check is almost unheard of!" Marge said. Adam then got a text and he looked at it. He soon gasped in shock before looking at Marge and Homer.
"Where's Lisa?!" Adam asked. Lisa then came downstairs, dressed for school.
"What's wrong? Did something happen?" She asked.
"I just got a text from Fat Tony! Milhouse is threatening to jump from the top of the school!" Adam said. Lisa's eyes widened and she gasped in shock.
[At Springfield Elementary….]
Emergency vehicles lined the road and a crowd gathered at the bottom.
"Keep back, people! Keep back!" Chief Wiggum said. Standing at the top, watching all of this, was Milhouse van Houten. Fat Tony stood behind him, holding a hand out.
"Come on! Just step down from there! We can talk about this!" Fat Tony said.
"NO! I don't want to talk! I have nothing to talk about!" Milhouse said. A siren then chirped below and Milhouse looked as an unmarked emergency vehicle pulled up and parked. Adam then stepped out, wearing a FBI windbreaker.
'Why is HE here?!' Milhouse thought. Lisa then got out from the other side and they both approached the barricade. Two officers let them through and they went to Chief Wiggum.
"Please! Just think about this!" Fat Tony said.
"Why is he here?! Why is the man who RUINED MY LIFE here?!" Milhouse asked.
"You mean Agent Hotchner? How did he ruin your life?" Fat Tony asked.
"He took away my best friend," Milhouse said, "and stole the love of my life!" The door to the roof then opened and Adam and Lisa ran out.
"Milhouse, stop this!" Lisa said.
"Stay back!" Milhouse said.
"Milhouse," Adam said, "I know you blame me for what happened to Bart. I was only doing my job."
"He was my best friend!" Milhouse said.
"He tried to kill your Principal and Superintendent with a nuclearized car bomb! What would you have done if you were in my situation?! Let him go?!" Adam asked. Milhouse gasped and looked at Adam.
"You… you didn't want to do it?" Milhouse asked.
"Of course I didn't! If it were up to me," Adam said, "I would have only charged him with two counts of Attempted Murder! He escalated it by using nuclear materials in a car bomb! He never gave me a choice!" Milhouse turned around and took his glasses off.
"You still stole the love of my life from me." He said.
"Milhouse," Lisa said, "I already told you! I don't like you that way! I gave you a chance and you blew it! You have to move on!"
"I don't have anyone else!" Milhouse said.
"What about Janey?" Adam asked. Milhouse gasped and looked at him in shock. Fat Tony was stunned.
'I never expected THAT reaction!' Fat Tony thought.
"Your next line is going to be 'How did you know I had a short crush on Lisa's friend, Janey?'." Adam said.
"How did you know I had a short crush on Lisa's friend, Janey?!" Milhouse asked, causing him to gasp in shock.
'How did he know that?!' Milhouse thought.
"When they sent me here," Adam said, "my superiors gave me dossiers on everyone I would encounter, save for those related to the suspect. Yours was included, Milhouse. I know all about your crush on Janey. Try talking to her, and get to know her. You may just find yourself with more than just a crush. If you jump off that ledge now, you may never know the answer. Just take Fat Tony's hand, and we can get you the help you need. I promise." That last word echoed in Milhouse's head and he grabbed Fat Tony's hand. Fat Tony then pulled him off the ledge and held him close, causing the crowd below to cheer. Adam gave a sigh of relief and Lisa rubbed his back.
"You did the right thing." She said.
"I know." Adam said.
After a few moments, Milhouse was released to his mom's custody. He then approached Janey and she hugged him, whispering something in his ear. Whatever she whispered had an effect on him because he shed a tear and hugged her back. The school was closed for the day because of the incident, so everyone went home.
[At the Simpson's residence….]
Adam sighed as he sat down on the couch, turning the TV on. Lisa sat next to him and cuddled up. Adam wrapped an arm around her and the two were watching some random show. After some time, the two had dozed off and fallen asleep. Marge saw them sleeping and put a blanket over them before walking away, smiling.
'They need to relax a bit.' She thought. She then went to Bart's old room and sighed.
"Time to get rid of this stuff." She said. She then made posters and fliers, advertising a yard sale she was going to have. She then gathered all of Bart's stuff up and sorted it into separate boxes. One was for trash, one was to donate, one was for the yard sale, one was for stuff to sell to Comic Book Guy, and one was to keep. After sorting everything, she placed the items for the yard sale on Bart's old bed and put the rest in the hall. She then took the boxes in the hall down to her car and drove off, donating all of Bart's old toys and clothes, trashing all the trash that was in Bart's room, and selling Bart's valuable collectibles to Comic Book Guy. She then returned home and sighed as she saw Lisa and Adam still asleep. She then went upstairs herself and lied down for a nap.
[A few moments later….]
Adam was helping Marge get everything set up for the garage sale tomorrow. As he was helping, there was a knock at the door.
"I'll get it." Adam said. He then went to the door and opened it, seeing Milhouse standing in the doorway.
"Are you busy, Agent Hotchner?" He asked.
"I'm helping out with something at the moment. Why?" Adam asked.
"Because I need to talk with you." Milhouse said.
"What about?" Adam asked, growing concerned.
"It's about my crush on Janey. I…. I think she has some pretty severe feelings for me. I just don't want to screw this up." Milhouse said. Adam gave a reassuring smile and nodded.
"All you need to do is keep her happy. The happier she is," Adam said, "the better your life. Trust me." Milhouse smiled and gave a nod.
"Okay! I'll do it!" Milhouse said.
"Good." Adam said. Milhouse then left and Adam closed the door. He then finished helping Marge and looked at her.
"Thanks for your help, Adam." She said.
"Not a problem. Though," Adam said, "that begs an important question. What do you plan on using that room for now that Bart's not here?"
"I haven't thought of that! I was just going to use it for storage!" Marge said.
"Too obvious." Adam said.
"Then what do YOU think it should be used for?" Marge asked.
"I was gonna say it should be an office space." Adam said. Marge snapped her fingers and nodded.
"That's PERFECT! We can use the money from the garage sale to turn Bart's old room into an office for everyone! Each with their own desk!" Marge said. Homer and Lisa then walked in, Homer having Maggie in his arms.
"Marge," Homer said, "I don't think you and I need an office. It should just be for Adam. Lisa already has a desk in her room."
"I can move it to Bart's old room so I can get a bigger bed for both Adam and I to sleep on," Lisa said, "and I can also find matching end tables so we can each have our own sides."
"What about a dresser? Adam doesn't have to work EVERY day. He needs regular clothes." Marge said.
"I'm having the Bureau send all my clothes from my apartment in Quantico. They're also bringing a dresser that I had bought." Adam said. Lisa went to Adam and took his hand.
"I need your opinion on something." She said.
"Thinking of repainting your room?" Adam asked.
"That way it suits BOTH of us." Lisa said.
"Let's see what you got." Adam said. Lisa took him upstairs and to her room. She pulled out some color samples and showed them to Adam. He looked at the walls then at the samples. He then grabbed a blue and put it on the wall. Lisa looked at it and smiled.
"That one looks good!" She said.
"It's not perfect." Adam said.
"What about this one?" Lisa asked, grabbing a darker blue. Adam placed it against the wall and smiled.
"It's perfect." Adam said. Lisa smiled and looked at Adam.
"Let's get started." She said.
"We should wait until after the garage sale." Adam said.
"Good point." Lisa said.
[The next day….]
Adam was taking money left and right from people who were buying Bart's old stuff. After a few moments, all of Bart's stuff was sold and his room was cleared out. Adam and Homer then moved Lisa's desk into Bart's old room and Adam saw how old it was.
"Lisa needs a new desk." Adam said.
"Can we afford it?" Homer asked.
"We have plenty enough to get her a new desk." Adam said.
"What about you?" Homer asked.
"Enough for that, too. We even have enough to get the walls repaired and repainted." Adam said.
"Know any good contractors?" Homer asked.
"That I do." Adam said.
[Two hours later….]
Adam finished the last of the repairs and sighed before starting to paint. Lisa had walked in and smiled.
"Need some help?" She asked.
"Sure. I'll start on one side, you start on the other." Adam said. While working together, Adam and Lisa got the entire room painted and left so the paint could dry.
"What now?" Lisa asked.
"Not sure." Adam said. Lisa smiled and took Adam to the bathroom.
"We could BOTH use a shower after doing all that hard work. How about we handle that now?" She asked, turning the water on for the shower to start. Adam took his jacket off as Lisa was undressing. He turned around, giving a little privacy. She giggled before turning him around. Adam smiled and got the message.
[Moments later….]
Adam and Lisa were putting their desks together and had set up their computers. Adam's set up consisted of three monitors, each set up to his computer. He had his desk facing towards the door. He also had a filing cabinet and set up his desk with organizers. Lisa was stunned, but smiled and did her desk the same way. Near the window, they set up a table and put a coffee maker on it with a mini fridge below it. They both smiled and Marge walked in.
"This place looks like a real office! I'm impressed!" She said. Adam shook his head.
"It's still missing something." He said.
"What?" Marge asked. Adam looked and saw Nelson with a nameplate in his hands. He walked past Marge and placed it on Adam's desk. He went to Lisa's and placed another one on hers before holding out a sheet.
"You were gonna do it anyways." Nelson said. Lisa recognized the sheet and smiled, writing her name. Adam smiled and Nelson looked at him, showing the Junior Agent Program Sign-Up Sheet. Adam saw Nelson's name on there along with Lisa's, Milhouse's, Janey's, and several others. Fat Tony then walked in with a white board and placed it in a spot where both Adam and Lisa could see it perfectly. Adam smiled and looked out the window. He noticed the treehouse and opened the window, free running to it and sighed. Lisa looked out the window, shocked and concerned. Adam then looked out the window of the treehouse and back to Lisa.
"This treehouse needs to be taken down," Adam said, "and so does the tree. We can add a shed back here and turn it into a gym. That way, we have something to do when we have some time to kill." Marge looked out the window and nodded. Adam then cleared the way back and landed on the floor of the office, stunning Fat Tony and Nelson.
"Whoa!" Fat Tony said.
"You have GOT to teach me how to do that!" Nelson said.
"You'll learn eventually." Adam said. Lisa smiled and hugged Adam from behind.
"I hope to get to your level, Adam." She said. Adam put an arm around her and kissed her cheek.
"I know you will." Adam said.
[Later that night….]
Adam was looking out at the night sky, thinking of his past.
'My past does not define me. It gave me the experience I needed to get where I am today.' Adam thought. He then clenched a fist and heard giggling. He looked over and saw two kids playing in the backyard of another house.
"Let's go inside now, Todd. We can finish that puzzle we were working on!" One of them said. The two kids then went inside and Adam looked at the night sky again, clenching a fist.
'I refuse to let this town be overrun with crime and idiocy. I have to keep this town safe. I owe her that much.' Adam thought, turning to look at Lisa. She was sleeping peacefully. Adam then looked out again and put his fist over his heart.
"I won't let you down, mom and dad." Adam whispered. He then got in bed and lied down. Lisa then curled up to him and he soon fell asleep.
