Chapter 0: I am Spider-Man

It was a warm beautiful morning in Konoha City.

The time was minutes before 8 am which meant a blonde, 5'8 foot tall 16 year old high schooler had plenty time to get to school on time.

"Finally on time, if I was late again Kakashi-sensei was gonna give me detention." Said the teenager dressed in this school uniform consistence of a white collar shirt with a black tie and black dress pants.

He was on his way to Konoha high school, he was in his second year and the top of his class. Only problem he had recently was getting to school on time.

His name was Naruto Uzumaki, and he was NOT going to be late again today!

"Alright! So far so go, as long as nothing happens I'm good. Just want a normal day of walking to school." He thought as he waited at a crosswalk.

Finally the light changed as he made his way across the street, at this rate he'd get to school early.

Suddenly Naruto stopped dead in his tracks as he sensed danger. He could the sound of tires screeching, people screaming, and police sirens.

"Oh no." He said as he turned his head to the source of noise.

There was a red car going who knows how fast whipping around the corner with two police cars in hot pursuit after it. It was coming to the crosswalk and had no intention on stopping.

Naruto knew this and looked to his surroundings. The people on the sideways stopped to stare at the scene, they would be safe. But that worried him was the man and woman who were crossing the street at the same time as him, now were paralyzed with fear.

Naruto moved first pushing the man out of the way and next turning back to the woman. "Watch out!" He shouted as he shoved her of the street.

"Oh no, spider senses tingling!" The two were saved but now Naruto had no time to get out of the way of the speeding car himself.

Time seemed to slow down as the vehicle was inches away from colliding with him but it never did.

Naruto jumped at the last possible moment, going at least 20 feet in the air while doing a back flip. He stayed airborne long enough to avoid the cop cars also and when the cars finally passed his landed on his feet with one arm spread out.

He sighed in relief and disappointment "You know for once I'd let to make it to school on time." He said to himself knowing he was going to be late.

"How the hell did he do that!?"

"Oh my god! Did you see that?"

"He saved my life!"

"Most have gone 10...no 20 feet in the air!"

Naruto was snapped out of his thoughts and back to reality as he realized what he'd just done in front of a crowd of people. He needed to find a fast exit.

"Ah.." He opened his mouth as his mind scrambled to find words "I took four years of gymnastics..., train for the omlypus and ah remember to always eat your vegetables folks! Hahahah..." He laughed while rubbing the back of his head, wanting to slap himself for saying something so stupid.

But before anyone could process what he just said Naruto bolted out of there.

He ran as fast as he could to find an alley, all while slowly undoing his tie and opening his collared shirt revealing a colorful outfit underneath.

Inside Criminal's Car

"Holy shit that was close!" The driveer said recalling that just happened.

"No kidding! What do you think happened to that kid?" The passenger said.

The driver frowned "Who cares? Start shooting! We gonna loose those cops!" He said as he passed his partner a machine gun.

The two had just robbed a store when the store clerk hit a silent alarm and the police where chasing ever them since.

He nodded as he took the weapon and aimed it outside the window.

"Jesus Christ! They've got an assault rifle!" The officer driving one of the cars screamed as he swerved to get out of his sights.

But it was too late, the gunman open fire hitting the first police car's hood causing the car to crash into a street lamp. With one car gone he set his sights to the second car and tried to hit the drive but the bullets flew into the left front tire.

Seeing this he smirked and pulled himself back into the car "Step on it!" He told his partner.

The driver smiled as he floored it knowing they were in the clear.

Meanwhile the police officer struggled to control his car, he put all of his strength on the brake with no luck. Eventually the whole tire blew off making the car jump and flip over.

Unfortunately the car was flipping head first into a group of civilians on the sidewalk who were watching the scene.

"Look out!" Someone yelled as everyone scattered to get out of the way but it was too late. Most tripped and fell to the ground closing their eyes waiting for the inevitable.

But then there was no impact, the car had just stopped.

Everyone what was on the ground had opened their eyes they were baffled by what they saw. The police car was stopped but by what?

"A web? Is that a web?" Someone questioned.

Suddenly a red and blue blur swung pass them at neck breaking speed, swinging on another web.

"It's him!" Someone pointed grabbed everyone's attention "It's Spider-Man!"

"Good they're safe." Naruto thought as he swung as fast as he could after the speeding car. For two reasons, first he had to stop them before someone gets killed. And two he hoped maybe he'd still make to school on time.

"We lost them! We're scot free!" The driver said as they sped through traffic.

His partner nodded "Let's ditch the car and...AH!"

He let out a scream a something suddenly landed on the hood of the car.

"Hi there." A voice said as they looked up to see a teenaged spider theme superhero on top of their car "Yeah I'm afraid you're going about 200 in a 25 zone. Gonna have to ask you to pull over." He said.

"What the hell?"

"It's that spider guy!"

"It's pronounced Spider-Man." Naruto corrected him "Now we can do this this the easy or.." He was saying as his spider senses tingled and he saw the passenger aiming his gun at him "The hard way it is then!" He said.

Naruto then hoped on the top of the car, then the left siad and smashed his fist through the passenger's side throught the window, grabbed the gunman and yanked him out the car. "Here's your stop!" The man screamed as Naruto threw him and he shot out a web to stop his fall.

The driver panicked as he watched his partner go flying. He stepped on the gas and tried to shake Naruto off the car with no luck.

Naruto noticed what he was doing and deiced to put an end to this, he then used his webs to pull off the hood of the car and shot his webs into the engine.

Suddenly smoke appeared from the engine "Damn it!" The driver shouted as the car was slowly starting to lose speed. He then lost complete control of the car as he made a sharp turn causing the vehicle to flip over.

Naruto saw this and jumped off to catch the car before it hit the ground. Naruto grunted as he caught the car and slammed it back onto the ground, he then walked to the driver "You know you guys make me hate Mondays even more." He told him before yanking him out of the car.

Some time later more police officers showed up to the scene to find the car and the two criminals webbed up to a street lamp with a note attached to them.

By now the cops were there, looking at the web criminals, begging to get down.

"Same as always cheaf." An officer said as he passed the police captain the note.

It read: Courtesy of your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!

The captain frowned as he balled up the paper, not liking how this so-called hero did their job again. Now he going to get all the credits, glory hog.

"Someone get them down from there now!."

"Yes Captain Madara."

With Naruto

It was 8:20, Naruto was officially over 20 minutes late.

"There's no way Kakashi-sensei is gonna let this slide." He said as he crawled through a vent.

Interesting thing he found after becoming a superhero is there was a vent he could go through from the roof of the school that lead into the boy's bathroom.

"And we're clear." Naruto said as he peeked his head to see if anyone was there. He quickly got into a stall and changed back into his uniform and ran to class.

He stopped at his homeroom's classroom door, knowing what was about to happen.

"Sorry I'm late again, Kakashi-sensei." Naruto said as he sheepishly starched the back of his head.

Kakashi turned to see Naruto with his one god eye " I'm so glad you could join us." He started "So why are you so late this time?" He asked.

"There was really bad traffic this morning."

"You don't drive Naruto."

"Yeah but I..."

"Detention." Kakashi said bluntly as the class erupted into laughter.

Naruto hung he head low as he nodded and made his way to his seat.

"I remember a time when I was on time everyday! Heck sometimes early. My life was simpler back then." He thought as he took his seat flashing back to before he got his powers. "I wonder if I knew what I do now, would I had still let that spider bite me?"
