Outdoors
"Uwaaaah! Come on, Sasuke! Let's go to the park!" Sasuke frowned at the sudden outburst, but didn't stop stroking the blonde's hair.
"I don't want to..." He whispered back dangerously.
"Oh please! Please! Sasuke! PLEASE!" Naruto's pout quirked up into a pleading grin. His fingers tangled between raven locks of hair, playing with them while bumping softly against Sasuke's forehead. "Please?" He said again.
The raven haired boy hesitated for a moment before nipping Naruto's ear. "No..."
"Why not?"
"I don't want to..." He said, caressing the kitsune's face, skimming his digits against the strange whisker-like marks. "I hate the outdoors."
Figure. No wonder Sasuke's house was always in an unusual sombre silence and darkness. Sasuke liked his windows closed, he told Naruto once, the sun ruins his complexion.
"I know... but I really want to go outside. We've been inside the whole day already!"
Sasuke quirked an eyebrow at his lover then retreated to his corner of the couch.
"Whatever... If you want to go, go ahead. I'm staying here..."
"Aw, but... Sasuke!" Naruto's out deepened as Sasuke turned his head away. Was Sasuke mad at him? "Com eon, I want us to go together..." The blonde reached for the other boy's hand.
The other side remained uninterested.
"Sasukeeeeee!"
Sasuke flinched at the sound of his name being stretched in a high-pitched tone. Naruto was very distracting at the moment. He sounded like he was going to burst into tears any moment, like a volcano in its eruption stage. He wanted to turn around to comfort the blonde. To give in and to step outside on this perfect-to-stay-indoors-day. But not today. He was determined to stay in for today and have his way with Naruto 'til morning. He wouldn't give in like yesterday, or the days before that.
"Sa... sukeeeee..." Naruto's shoulders dropped, his eyes warning to water anytime. Sasuke found his eyes slowly and hesitantly adverted back to the kyuubi's holder.
"No..." He said again, this time weaker than before.
"You're..." Naruto choked. Sasuke could barely catch a glimpse of his expression before Naruto's head drooped, letting his bangs covered his face. "are... so... meeaaan..."
Sasuke leaned closer to identify whether or not his lover is crying, but Naruto immediately turned his head away.
"Fine! Be that way!"
Sasuke instantly ate his words when Naruto's shoulders shook slightly. He felt waves of guilt rushing through his body as the shaking got faster. Although it didn't display, he was going crazy underneath.
"Gomen..." He said alas, a bit reluctant. A loud 'humph' came from the other end.
"Alright alright... let's go to the park." Anything to stop the guilt stinging his poor heart. Naruto raised his head in triiumphant.
"Finally! You could have said it earlier, ya know?"
Sasuke felt a vein popping out as he carefully examined Naruto's dry, tear-less, smiling face.
"You tricked me!"
"What makes you say that?"
More ranting went on as they headed out to the park. Outdoors won indoors anyday, atleast for now. Sasuke was going to prove Naruto wrong. Someday. Some way...
